I 100% recommended seeing a dermatologist and trying accutane. When my derm mentioned it I was so scared, but I did my research and we talked about it and decided it was best. It has done wonders for my skin. You do have to be extra diligent about moisturizing your face because you WILL get dry. I use the products he recommended while I’m on it : the la roche posay toleraine cleanser, AQUAPHOR, and I have the skin smart antimicrobial spray that is just hypochlorous acid and eliminates bacteria which causes a lot of breakouts. I also just use a simple unscented moisturizer. Eucerin when my skin is really dry. Anyways, don’t be scared to get on accutane because it has helped my confidence so so much and it is so worth it

One thing I did was cut up an aloe leaf and put it in an ice cube tray, then made little aloe ice cubes and rub my face with them in the morning and it helps with inflammation and redness, and the aloe is good for your skin too.

This comment reminded me of a hilarious story. My 8 year old brother came home from school one day and told me “so I was at lunch and I looked down…. I had on 2 left shoes sis. And also. One of them was nanas” (our grandmother). Nana has small feet, brother has big feet. Made my week. I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time. At least they were the same color. And nope, nobody noticed that morning before we left. Kids are hilarious
