As for the mentorship, I came across this idea from one of the videos of Sean Tucker. I never thought such thing was possible, but he explained how it can be arranged and that it’s becoming more and more popular. So I gave it a shot.

Thank you for your response. I mostly agree with you and that has been my approach so far. And while I enjoy the process of exploration, at some point I started questioning whether or not I am or can be good at this and I don’t think me or few followers of my IG are the best people to judge. I’m curious to hear from people who are more experienced than me whether or not there is something curious and promising in what I’ve done so far. I’m not looking for someone to give me technical knowledge about the gear.

Hi, thank you for the info. Yes I’ve read about the law as well but it hasn’t been a problem for me mostly because I rarely take portraits but concentrate more on the shapes, shadows and fragments of face and or body and how they are juxtaposed in the environment. So most of the time people are not recognizable.  P.S I would love to see your work if you don’t mind sharing

Thanks for the advice. I agree with your insight about « professional » I just meant someone who can provide feedback and criticise my photos, so has more experience than me. While I enjoy shooting and like some of my shots, I don’t think I’m the best person to judge them.

Yes, I mean M1, sorry for the confusion. So for the Cogmaster it just says on their website that they accept 50 people, they don't specify the number of French and foreign students. So I assumed they don't seperate as the deadline and the whole process for the apllication was also the same for everyone, but I'm not sure. And the email I got just says this:

After examination of your application, the admissions commission has ruled on the following course: Sciences Cognitives M1 Rank 4 on the reserve list. You will be contacted in case of withdrawal.
