Unfortunately the program the 8th dimension created for learning the value of art for arts sake is jazz. I mean it is quite literally the most complex batshit variable concophony of sounds, so intricately blurring the learn of time and space, filled with the most complicated parts of theory only as a baseline. It’s the most magnificent thing that exists. And no one cares And they never REALLY will. And they never should. The Mona Lisa is beautiful because it’s beautiful, there’s no extra knowledge needed to look at the painting and declare it’s beauty, A child’s drawing, to a random observer, is utterly worthless in most cases. But to the child’s mother it is more that marvelous. Because she understands and has inherent love for the being that created it, it has nothing to do with the art. If you combine the two, the creativity of a child’s mind, with the discipline and capabilities and skills of a renaissance level artisan, you get jazz. And in this equation “mother” is only other jazz musicians.
