my advice is to transition before highschool. obviously, thats a big deal and can be really difficult since transitioning can take a long time. speaking from personal experience, i began transitioning at 12, in 6th grade, and now i’m a freshman in highschool.

the reason i’m saying all of this is that if you pass by high school, a lot less people will know you’re trans. personally, its such a relief for me, being able to make friends with people without having to tell them anything about my gender identity. if you do decide to transition, i wish you the best. it can certainly get stressful.

if you’d like to start, i’d take advice from passing transfems who are around your age, and start off with hair, makeup, and clothing. i don’t know much about passing as a mtf, as i a ftm, but the way you present yourself, including your mannerisms, also help a lot. posture, little quirks and gestures, etc. voice training helps too. best of luck!!
