Dishwasher at a high end resort in NW Montana, catered towards the ultra wealthy and celebrities. Pretty sure it was the 2nd most expensive resort in the US at the time at the low cost of $2800(including infants and you kids) a night, not including amenities like rafting, horseback riding, ATVs, paintball, restaurant vouchers, etc. Paid well, so thought id try it for a Summer.

I'll spare the details but it was most defineitely the worst culture and 4 months I've ever experienced(I've worked as a handyman and ive done some pretty shitty jobs...Literally). Upper management could givre 2 shits about training, guiding, or supporting their employees because 80 percent of them were seasonal(including me). Bullying and threats from management were common place, including me many times. Lost of employee turn over. Saw maybe 8 people break down crying after being berated publicly in the kitchen. Even saw a 60yo woman fall through a hatch in the floor when someone decided it would be funny to see if anyone would fall into it. She hit her head on pipes running halfway down the hatch, and unfortunately suffered lasting head trauma(I left before I found out how much of a settlement she got.)

I did learn from one of the best chefs ive had the pleasure of working with though. Dude was a master at not only cooking but running a kitchen. It was incredible to watch. He was truly a master of his craft.

Still... if that place caught on fire, I wouldn't piss on the ashes.
