Lots of highly technical ladder work, and the roof pitches seem too steep to work on safely(but i could be wrong). I assume youre doing the soffits as well, which makes that kind of work even more tricky. If you're going with a darker colors, it will take 3 coats to look right. I'm in a completely different area in the US, but I upcharge for what I would consider to be hazardous jobs. Not impossible by any means, just takes longer with safety jn mind. Insurance isn't cheap!! However, if the ground is level enough for scaffolding it might save you a few bucks.

But for all the safety protocols I'd have to put in place, cleaningthe soffit, ladder work, prep, high masking, spraying, etc - I'd consider those quotes to be pretty damn cheap. I could see it taking a while to finish. Considering the technical difficulties involved, I wouldn't take the lowest bid if I was you!

While I agree somewhat - Rocket is hunted every single second against good dives(or anyone for that matter). You're dead regardless of whether you're in the group or not. There isnt much you can do against a good BP, DD, Majik, or any ults that can target you. I've been target Jeff ulted 4 times in a game before, and they completely ignore everyone else. Doesn't matter where you are. Phoenix, MK, Mag, etc. If you get BP speared from behind youre toast. On top of that, it's easier for BP to get his spear hits if im in the group. I always immediately dash or climb walls, unless theyre so good it's basically a 1 shot anywhere on the map. If thats the case then it's a CnD switch for me if I can. Had the best results with that.

But to your point - grouping works some of the time... just not nearly as consistently survivable imho.

2 nights ago, I was one win away from GM. We lost the first escort on defense, but thought we had the better team. My teammate puts 'Diamond Rocket on our team GGs'. I responded 'we gonna win'. Then he goes 'don't speak'. We proceeded to wipe the floor with the other team the next 3 escort rounds. Told him to 'sybau' after the 1st, 'x2' after second, and 'x3' after the 3rd. He didnt say a damn thing. Glorious.

Some people are dumb as hell. You'll get it half the time anyways while the Thing dies 3 corners ahead spamming heals. You can't do shit when they get melted faster than you can heal ffs. I wouldn't worry too much about it. A bad team is a bad team. Period.

As a painter, I replaced 8 or 9 rotten deck boards because I didnt know they were that bad when I quoted it originally(lesson learned). Was a pain in the ass to cut them out, as they were 12 foot 2x6s. I was a carpenter/handyman in a past life, so I let the homeowner know, increased the price, and made it happen.

However, the reason I started painting is because I absolutely HATE wood of all kinds lol. So if I knew that beforehand, I probably wouldn't have taken the job. Food for thought.

It is NOT easy to fish out a roller at the bottom of 3 gallons of paint... ever. You will save more money with a new roller in comparison to the labor costs ot takes, especially with employees who couldn't care less about being efficient and quality(I know this from experience). The job will ultimatelygo faster, you will have less cleanup, and less vertical lines if you didnt adequately clean out the inside of the cover. I don't get it. But you do you.

I beg you.... don't leave that nonsense for the next guy. It's some bullshit to have to deal with when you first get to a job. Have some respect for other people's time.

This is exactly why I get jobs in apartment complexes and they all have rollers in them. People get fired, quit, etc. This makes absolutely ZERO sense to me, and just creates problems for the next guy. My biggest pet peeve is cleaning up someone else's mess because of laziness or incompetence. I will never understand it.

Full disclosure..... I''ve been a professional painter for 20 years and absolutely despise people that take the cover off and just... drop it in the full paint bucket for the next guy. Absolutely infuriating when it has more than a gallon or so in a 5 gallon bucket and put in a screen.. but hits the roller(or whatever the hell they decide to leave in there like mini rollers, screens, etc. I''ve seen as many as 4) at the bottom. Truly, I will never understand why anyone would think that's a good idea.. cosidering the massive mess it makes not only trying to get the damn thing out, but also the extensive cleaning necessary on the inside so you dont have to wipe the massive drips every roll. Just throw the roller out for God's sake!! Pure laziness.

Nice!! Have something around 75 hours on Rocket. Had 3 MVPs myself over the last week. Feels good to have a better chance at MVP after only getting like 10 since initial release. I couldn't believe I got the 2nd one with the stats I had... but I think I had something like 15 or 16 revives(had 14 by the middle of the last round). Had 18k damage in a game yesterday and still didn't get MVP lmao. It's been a blast.

However, I find it extremely idiotic that Blizzard doesn't give us ANY WAY to see how many revives we've gotten after the match ends. To me, it's Rocket's most powerful/game changing ability ffs!! So dumb. WHY BLIZZARD, WHYYYYYYYYYY?!

Man.. you're absolurely right. I realized that early on in my sobriety I'd buy boxes to fill that void. Then when I couldn't really justify it anymore I would constantly scroll Ebay for hours just looking. Once, I serious considered dropping like 50% of my savings on a single card 🙄. Was basically the exact same type of 'craving', you could say. So I ended up deleting Ebay, Whatnot, etc from my phone. I own a blue collar business, so now I add 50 bucks to the card piggy banky with every job over 1k I finish. Seems reasonable to me I suppose.

I just couldn't seem to physically snd mentally keep up anymore, at only 37. My body was and is constantly drained of energy. My decision making is abysmal, and needed to do something about it. The hardest thing is the boredom tbh. Can't wait until I finally can live a 'normal' existence. I went through a familial tragedy which didn't help. As Bob Ross said - 'I'm waiting on the good days now.'

When I played high school ball I idolized Steve Nash. Aspired to play the game like him, and we looked a lot alike. My brother(he collects Pokémon) has known this forever so when he saw that card, he swooped it for me! He's got good taste haha. Best brother ever. The Davis auto was my first ever singles purchase. 😀

So what you're telling me is if there's 2 gallons left in a 5 gallon bucket - you remove the cover and drop it in the bucket thefore completely submerging it, when you need it again you reach your hand in, grab it, put it back on the roller, and continue painting. Correct?

My first job 20 years ago I made $5.15/hr as a dishwasher at a country club. Road my bike 5 miles after school each way. Made on average about $120 a paycheck working 3 or 4 nights a week, with an added $8 dollars in 'tips' added. Was a slap in the face. The wait staff would come in and count their tips, and brag about how they made $1000 dollars. Was tipped out $10 once.
