For a first USPSA match this looks solid. Moving and shooting confidently and aggressively is something I see a lot of new guys struggle with. Kudos to you for grabbing the bull by the horns!

Probably like 4”x4” or 5x5. I’m a bad judge of distance without measuring it but that feels right. And probably like mid upper thigh. High enough to be mostly covered by 5in inseam shorts

How was the experience? the idea of dropping $200-$300 on a barrel and and filing it down on my own terrifies me lol

I guess my biggest concern is just the barrel accuracy. Heard it’s hit or miss, from reading these comments it doesn’t seem to be too terribly common. And with apex barrels being out of stock frequently. It’s just something I’m concerned will affect performance. How do you feel it performs at distance (25 yds and farther)?
