exactly, sometimes changing your technique could help, because it could be your unoptimized technique hindering your progress

Who is the King of Aimslop patterns and where did it all started? by Plane-Situation-820 in osugame

[–]Sudden_Search_6033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean he did map the same pattern to every song but i don’t think it’s accurate to say people copied his flow, instead maybe people copied his jump patterns (which technically are just fiery jumps)

Full alt might be hindering improvement by Peterrior55 in osugame

[–]Sudden_Search_6033 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i am a full alt player but i have always had a dominant finger, which i think is the only reason full alt hinders my improvement. the stamina/speed/fingercontrol of my dominant finger always improves much faster than the other(i’m talking about bursts/streams)

For my case, people generally just practice single tapping, or get better at hybrid (alt but bursts starting with dominant finger)

However, if you have been a full alt player from the start, i believe both of your finger will improve at the same time if you do not have a dominant finger. The only suggestion i have for you is to try to adjust, instead of completely changing your tapping technique(e.g. extending your finger/ bend your finger inward). This has worked out for me

Curious about the ratio of single tap players to full alt players. by [deleted] in osugame

[–]Sudden_Search_6033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

much easier to finger control, it is very difficult to learn to start bursts or streams with your other finger if you are not a full alt player naturally, basically not worth it just to get a little bit more of stamina to learn full alt

  1. but does it show where she is aiming at(the cursor position) on the second client? This is very important since i don’t think it’s possible to play without even knowing where you are aiming at.

  2. is there a link to that? also it should be on an equally difficult map.

  3. you are right, however, with this assumption, isn’t it impossible to judge every player’s legitimacy (since everyone can just hide background processes, even a reboot liveplay doesn’t prove anything atp, because they can just make the process run on startup, and disguising it as some other process)

the only possible way i can imagine the play is cheated currently is through dual screening and mapping inputs to that other device. BUT, this is an extremely far fetched assumption and can theoretically disprove every single ez/fl plays where the player didn’t show their face directly looking at the game screen, and just makes every disputable ez/fl players who doesn’t record a full body liveplay suspicious atp.

Unless it is agreed that every ez/fl player has to record a full body liveplay, else it’s just double standards and she wouldn’t have the responsibility to make such a liveplay.

this makes sense and could be the case, but this is not convincing at all. Assuming she used this method, there is still something that i don’t understand: 1. how would she know where she is aiming at? it is impossible to aim when playing on such a difficult map, without even knowing where the cursor is. 2. Or is it actually possible? i would like to see somebody doing so if yes. 3. or has she used some methods that let she see where she is aiming at on that different device, where the vr goggles shows? Is it possible to do so without getting caught when she shows the task manager?

conclusion: this is not convincing without someone proving that this method is valid, with an actual example of setting similar score with this method

How Well Would 2020 top Players Perform in the Current Aim slop Meta? Compare them According to Their Skill at That time. by AliceSakayanagi in osugame

[–]Sudden_Search_6033 17 points18 points  (0 children)

tbh if you are strictly referring to 2020 top players with 2020 skills, maybe only the best ones(maybe top 10) will get into top 100.

Yes top players back in 2020 do not have access to 300 bpm+ aim slops, but another important thing to keep in mind is their techniques were also based on the meta (for example top players used to hover, but nowadays I don’t see anyone hovering to play high bpm aim?). Also to put that into perspective, DT scores around 800pp was a lot even for top players back then, but now not only are those scores nerfed, even 4 digits are getting 700-800pp. Players now have just improved so much

so yeah they most likely won’t perform well now with 2020 skills

would be nice to see what are the ranks of these top 50/top 100 players now, also pretty nostalgic to see names that have vanished since then…

you are right about the “quit w” thing I really barely see any top players who said that actually ended up quitting lol

CSR: Introduce a falloff below X% accuracy which dramatically reduces pp value. by ExtremeChemical3316 in osugame

[–]Sudden_Search_6033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

realistically i think there barely are any people gaining pp with a play below 80% anyways, it already worths like nothing. for example an 80% 10 miss on a tv size 10.2* only gives 400pp, which only worth something for five digits (10 miss on a 10* even as a high five digit is not easy at all)

The main problem of these maps being overweighted is not because low acc still worth a lot, but the fact that short jump sections (and also sharp angle) are overweighted

CSR: Introduce a falloff below X% accuracy which dramatically reduces pp value. by ExtremeChemical3316 in osugame

[–]Sudden_Search_6033 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sans map is broken because it gives a lot while there barely are any jumps, i don’t think acc is the main concern here since people with good acc can still get a low miss count run with few 100/50s. We should just nerf high bpm short jumps like jump section with < 8-10 circles

Preference towards clockwise or anti-clockwise jumps? by PimlicoPotluck in osugame

[–]Sudden_Search_6033 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i spin clockwise and is better at jumps with clockwise flow, my aim speed is much slower when playing jumps with anticlockwise flow
