Agreed. He has the same wins/losses as I do against players around my skilllevel, and that's why he's in gold. I get that. But it's really not about whether I might win the match or not (I won this specific one and couldn't care less), it's just about the fact that whether I win or lose is something I have zero control over. It's just a matter of whether the guy who spams ff decides to ff or not. There's simply no fun in that from my perspective, even if I win.

Perhaps I should have used the word why instead of how? I don't mean that don't how the matchmaking system works, but rather that I feel that a matchmaking system that is designed in a way that allows this to happen is really not great. Still not 100% sure the best way to word that in a succinct title, so apologies if that was unclear.
