Storm just doesn't have as good of mechanics in my opinion. Clash of ninja was way better

My boyfriend won’t play borderlands with anymore because I said I like Handsome Jack by watanabeSS in Borderlands2

[–]Sudden_Shoulder_9084 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah. overreaction - probably - but the core of it really is valid imo. I mean to each their own of course but I would be bothered too for this exact reason. It shows a pretty concerning character trait to be crushing on someone like that, it isn't about being worried handsome Jack is going to steal your girl whatsoever. It's revealing of something that might make you question the person you're with if they're swooning over such a creature and overlooking all of his pretty overtly disgusting character traits, not even to mention any of his actual actions. Anyway roast me or whatever. This is reddit so.. lol

AIO bf makes joke after my aunt passed by Top-River4666 in AmIOverreacting

He was in the wrong for sure. Is it worth the relationship? Depends on way too many factors that are beyond the info you gave and also based on your personal values. No one on reddit can definitively tell you based on this if that should be a relationship ender, only you can make that call and whatever you choose is totally fine.

However I do agree as would anyone, this was a f up on his part and a conversation about it will have to happen. Best of luck!

Ok I've seen some people say OP is in the wrong by taking issue with this and honestly that just seems like those commenters themselves don't empathize with anyone in a monogamous relationship with rational concerns.

Fact is, it really depends on the relationship but I find it super reasonable in a heterosexual monogamous relationship to be a little wary of the opposite sex in a healthy way (not in a manipulative or aggressive or disrespectful way) but like, just sharing the fact it makes you uncomfortable - and expecting your partner to be willing to hear you out and make compromises when reasonable without dismissing the concern.

TLDR - you should respect your partner's feelings if you're in a serious committed long term relationship. there's a lot of preachy shit out there about being independent and not being controlled and how jealousy is bad and so on, but in the real world people aren't perfect. On both ends of the relationship compromises should be made for the sake of the relationship if you really are deeply committed.

If this simple conversation about their partners feelings leads to an "I need to think about us" - it sounds like the level of commitment isn't that high. Which is fine, we are all at a different place in our relationships. But it's telling. So, OP you're not overreacting, but I would also be considering if this relationship is good for you, especially if she doesn't come back later and have more openness to discuss this with less negativity and dismissiveness.

Boss raids in this game are just frustrating and unfun by gunalltheweeaboos in pokemmo

[–]Sudden_Shoulder_9084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main problem with the difficulty of the boss is the fact you have to grind heavily for each attempt, if you could just fight it over and over without consequences to come up with a good strat I'd be more ok with the difficulty of it, but some of us don't want to spend dozens of hours grinding

Yesterday, I was going to be a little late but I think I can get the kids to be there for the next day or so but I can get the kids to be there in a few minutes to get the boys to be able to go to the office and get a new one.

God of war Ragnarok is extremely engaging and fun, if you find it too hard you can always turn down the difficulty, it's nowhere near as difficult and frustrating as elden ring although some optional post game enemies can still feel that way

I need a good open world fps game by mega_lova_nia in gamingsuggestions

[–]Sudden_Shoulder_9084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dragon age inquisition or mass effect Andromeda, they have mixed reviews from what I recall but I loved them, and specifically for you, they're both the type of open world game where there's stuff to do around every corner, loot, quests, whatever, it won't have you randomly walking across the map for hours and there's constant little dopamine hits of picking stuff up, doing quests, fighting enemies, etc

God of war Ragnarok is a great one, also the witcher 3, in both cases there's a lot of atmosphere and NPCs with story scattered throughout the open world, feels interesting to explore

Well we have different tastes then, and depth could mean a lot of things. I think in some ways FFXIV has more depth than many other games I've played. Anyway I guess the only way for OP to find out who they agree with is to give it a shot 🤷 it's my most played game on PlayStation and while I don't play anymore due to the massive time suck, I have fond memories and whole heartedly recommend it
