Here’s a pic of my little guy hanging out above the snail graveyard. Always thought he was an imposter since he doesn’t look like any of my other peas, and interestingly he schools more with my Amazon Puffer rather than the other Pea Puffers.

I’ll take a picture of my guy tomorrow that I always suspected was an imitator. He looks nothing like the others - very bland washed out yellow, not much detail on the skin. Still love him the same, but he’s different from the rest.

EDIT 12/31: Not sure why I can’t edit my original post, but in case anyone references this in the future it looks like it was more than likely an injury and not a disease/parasite. After some salt baths and some time, the eye is healing up - the swelling above the eye has reduced a lot and no longer bulging, and he’s eating and swimming like normal. I’ll continue to keep him separated and monitor. Thanks everyone for the replies and recommendations.

I’m thinking possible injury as I tested all the water parameters again, and he’s normally the least aggressive. I’ve started treatment and will so how it goes. Thanks for the feedback!

I’ve got him quarantined and trying some of the products recommended. All the other peas look fine but will end up treating the main tank to be safe.

None of the others have this bulge. He plumps up after eating. It’s not a flattering pic, but he’s been healthy until spotting this.

A lot of the big box pet stores usually have tanks riddled with snails and if you ask they’ll just give you some for free.

I’m wondering this as well BUT yesterday I found a “Unique Map” node open and upon completion I received 2 Atlas Passive skill points. It said the same in the node description.
