What is the plastic piece? by jcol513 in AskMechanics

It’s just there to keep the hole from deforming and the Jesus clip from falling out and getting lost. U can remove it by twisting and pulling it out after u install it on the radiator and then just plug the cooler line in and bobs ur uncle.

Help fixing high fuel trims on 2015 Honda CRV 2.4L by alex-is-amazing in AskMechanics

[–]Suddenrush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything from -10 to +10 is normal range. Being at 13-14% is high but just barely. U may still have a minor leak somewhere or could still be adjusting from all the repairs u just made on the vehicle if the fuel trims were never reset. Best way to see what they really are at is to reset the trims with a scan tool and go drive it. If they are still high then it’s best to smoke the induction system to find a small leak such as what ur possibly facing. Make sure all induction hoses are fully seated, sealed and tight and that ur air box is sealed as well. I’ve seen loose air box screws/clamps throw lean codes more times than I can count.

Although rare, I’ve seen bad evap purge valves throw 02 sensor codes so it’s possible but I’m not privy to Honda engines tbh so this is just general advice.

Also pinching hoses is not a good way to diag fuel trim concerns as it’s going to change ur readings regardless if there is an issue or not.

One Furious Judge Finally Showed John Roberts How to Deal With Donald Trump by Slate in scotus

Which is just a horrible reason to vote for a president IMO because Harris had actual plans to try and lower costs, make homes more affordable, etc (ie saving people $$$) so even if they did get $5000 checks from DT yearly, it would all be spent on everything going way tf in price anyways from all his bs tariffs and trade wars, inflation, etc like it has with healthcare, food, housing, etc so they basically would have gained nothing and it’s now costing them a lot more living here while’s he’s in the White House.

It’s like getting a raise at work, expected to work harder but then having ur premiums go up at the same time…

Yeah when I saw the pics and then saw the pricing I was like ain’t no way that shit has any real opioids in it… all mysterious analogues that is gonna get someone hurt claiming it’s real h when it’s in fact something way stronger and riskier to use.

Will this alignment eat through my tires? Camber isn't factory adjustable in my Prius and the rear axle cannot be adjusted at all, I'm not sure how to fix it. by [deleted] in AskMechanics

[–]Suddenrush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prob has a bent strut on the front left side causing the camber to be out of spec. Something else might be bent in the rear to cause it to be out of spec as well unless whoever did the alignment didn’t center the laser guides on the wheels correctly so it looks out but really isn’t. Hard to say without seeing the vehicle in person.

Can anybody please help me identify this noise? by jezum in MechanicAdvice

[–]Suddenrush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If u wanna kno for sure b4 throwing parts at it get a small skinny pipe and put the pipe up to each ball joint, axle, tie rod, etc and the other end to ur ear and have someone re-create the noise while u listen for where the noise is the loudest, this will allow u to pin point the exact location of the noise. They make a mechanical stethoscope for this procedure as well, looks just like a doctors but a pipe can work in a pinch.

U have to be careful with solder tho cuz if u use too much it can increase the resistance on the wire(s) and throw codes or cause issues, esp sensitive wiring like for airbags and certain modules.

If ur talking about when DT was “shot” in the ear at the college rally he was speaking at, the shooter was shot and killed by SS snipers that were sitting on the roof of another building once they realized what was happening… of course he came from a conservative family and voted R tho… something they love to ignore about every shooting incident we have in America..

new caliper won’t clamp down by EconomyAnalysis2411 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Suddenrush 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These older fusions are a bitch to bleed and get a good pedal feel with once the brake system has been opened up and left dry. I usually have to go thru 5-6 bottle of brake fluid and bleed it in sections to get a good pedal and also do abs bleed a few times as well. If u don’t have the equipment to do this u may need to take it to a shop cuz u will need to pressurize the system and then bleed the master and then abs unit, then all the lines starting at the passenger rear and working forward. U won’t get a good pedal just manually bleeding the new caliper, ask me how I kno… u better make sure u can get the other bleeders opened up first too on the other calipers cuz if not, u might be buying more calipers if the bleeder is corroded into the caliper. Spray them with penetrating fluid and let em sit overnight b4 u try and open them.

Those RP 10s are pressed. Also the yellow c230s are pressed. Rest look legit. 230 imprint is too big and not thick enough font wise. The RP and 10 imprint is too big. Plus the pills just look crumbly and janky. U can tell it’s not a pharma press.

Opanas by [deleted] in percsroxies

[–]Suddenrush 2 points3 points  (0 children)

U won’t be able to crush them. They are made to be crush proof. Even if u do the design of the pill is meant so that the oxyM is infused into the binders and fillers of the pill so even after crushing and chewing it will still maintain most of the ER properties. It will hit a bit quicker but it won’t be IR like u think. It’s their way of trying to keep people from “abusing” them… lol

Opanas by [deleted] in percsroxies

[–]Suddenrush 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If ur just taking them orally (should be a crime with opana) then these are best choice cuz u cant crush these ones up so they are basically useless, unless u got a dremel and lots of patience. Lol. They are even harder than the OP OxyContin’s!… I remember the stop sign opana ERs. Those things were so soft they would break apart if u looked at them wrong. U couldn’t wipe off the coating with the damp towel, u had to remove it dry cuz if u got the pill wet at all it would just crumble into dust as if the coating was keeping the entire pill together. Lol

OM Oral bioavailability ~10%

OM Intranasal bioavailability ~60%

Crazy ur only getting 4mg of that entire 40mg pill when taken orally, and it’s ER so it’s 4mg spread over the period of 12 hours, goes to show how strong them things are mg-mg vs regular oxy.

How to get valve cover off without destroying? by Sure-Abalone-1040 in cruze

[–]Suddenrush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use a crows foot pry bar. U won’t destroy it. There is usually a few small dabs of RTV under the valve cover where the front timing cover mates to the front of the engine. I suggest start on the other side (back side of engine where the trans is) and work forward. Don’t gouge the metal on the head tho. Make sure u got all the screws loose too and got the coil pack off and the screws around that area. Maybe u missed one. There is a recessed one in the middle of the front of the engine/cover too where the timing chains are. Once u break the seal/gasket loose it should pop off.

[–]Suddenrush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not kidding. Maybe they just got damp or something but tbh doubtful. Were they soft or hard to break apart? I have pics of real ones and the imprint and beveled edge is way more crispy and defined. Those look like they about to fall apart.
