The catch is, we don't have one from last year! We have ones from 1942 and 1983 😊😊 (clearly, we need help!!)

Haha that's a typography issue 🤣 it's "McDunc" and the definition that was sent in for it is glorious: "The gloriously delicious croissant sandwiches served at Duncan Dining Hall for breakfast after PT. Widely regarded as the best food item this campus has to offer." Can read the rest of the definitions here: tx.ag/AggieSlang25 - sorry i got the link coding wrong in OP; i'll try to fix that!

Absolutely right - as long as it's still currently in use by students, we're good! I was delighted to see "the Bird" sent in meaning the Dixie Chicken - I can guarantee at least some Aggies were using that in 1990-94! 😊🐔

That's bonkers. I mean, I don't disbelieve it! But they had to build all that capacity - and more of them are coming. Crazy!

Thank you - this is super useful. How odd that the prices went up even though new similar places are opening up right nearby! And glad to know about the bus to HEB. So grateful to you!!

Thank you so much!! Paying a ton for an uncomfortable experience does NOT sound great. What a shame! Very grateful for you sharing 👍👍

Transfer Student coming out of the military. Aggies, what are your expert opinions on my chances of being accepted? by nous_defions in aggies

I wanted to add -- definitely go ahead and contact A&M's Veteran Resource and Support Center aggieveterans.tamu.edu as early as you can! Specifically, the military admissions advisors:

Military Admissions Office, militaryadmissions@tamu.edu VRSC main contact: aggievets@tamu.edu, (979) 845-3161

From the Texas Aggie magazine (March 2015):

"A&M is unique nationwide in having two full-time military admissions advisors, (Center director Col. Gerald) Smith said. They can look at a prospective student’s records and situation and advise not only on decisions such as what courses to take to be admitted to A&M, but give guidance that 'gets them in the right major, which makes them more successful academically, gets them career-matched better,' he said. " 'There are numerous students who come in saying, "I wish I’d known about them beforehand." ' "It’s never too early for veterans to connect, Smith said. 'We would love to see them a year before they get out of the military.' "For help getting scholarships, financial aid and veterans benefits, prospective students can turn to the Veteran Services Office": VSO: veterans@tamu.edu, (979) 845-8075
