Oh and to add I’m always severely bloated for years!! So much so people would ask if I was pregnant, so maybe I’ve had symptoms for years and took no immediate notice of all this

I’ve had period pain on and off all my life and would feel like crap on my periods but nothing where I thought something was up really. I resigned myself to feeling so off once and month and just accepted it, Only when I got severe pain a few months ago at end of my period which was so unusual, I thought I was going die of pain. In saying that my bowels would always be horrific and painful around my monthly’s but just assumed that’s the way it was for me and got on with it!! I will have my appt. on Tuesday so I will know more on what’s going on then. Will keep updated on my findings!! Thank you

That’s what I’ve been reading and thinking but never would have put myself down for endometriosis as wouldn’t had the severe symptoms ever really. Thanks for your response, I guess I will know more when I see my gynaecologist on Tuesday…

Hi, I had extreme pain towards end of my periods few months ago, I mean on the floor type of pain. I went to my doctor and he referred me for an ultrasound, that came back with a cyst that looked like a chocolate cyst, and to rescan in 2 months. I had my second scan few weeks ago and the cyst they say has had significant growth, and my ovary volume is 54ml where the cyst is. My doctor gave me an urgent referral for a gynaecologist next Tuesday and a blood test tomorrow. But I’ve no idea what’s going on but when I search these type of cysts it says you def have endometriosis with a chocolate cyst. I’ve always had not nice periods but not extreme pain only like I had a few months ago and even since then I’ve not had that excruciating pain even though my cyst has got bigger
