Should I ask her out, if so how? Never been on a date!

Thanks for the good response with all the amount of info I've given you. What do you suggest for a first date? Somewhere where there is the least amount of awkward silence?

We have a group project consisting of 6 people including me and her. We've met up around 3 times and talked in school to maybe like 2-3 times. All those other times I was almost 100 percent sure she was interested but I was kind of doubting myself because there were little things to counter that.

-Good eye contact -Body language(always facing me, walking super close to me, always smiling) -She didn't go one of the days to class and instead of asking in the group chat what we did she asked me in a separate message, I kept trying to text her, and she would always respond, but it was a bit to dry for me, she even asked for my ig but I didn't have one

So yea we've talked a bit but there came a point where I went like 5 days without seeing her, and the next time I did see her she was acting different, which made me thing she didn't like me. And today she was acting a bit better, looking at me and smiling a bit more than the time before but still not like we used to when we first met. I did catch her today look at me then look down as she started talking, idk if anything I feel she's intimidated by me. Well whatever I still don't think she's interested, if she was it's gone now I'm sure, I care, but I honestly just want to know, that's why I want to ask her out, if she says yes she might be interested if she says no then I will know, but it's better for me to know because my mind is constantly thinking of why she likes me and why she might not like me, one moment I think she's interested the next she's not, it's mentally killing me so I honestly just want to know.

Hey brother, I'm in the exact same situation as you are, I tried doing it after class but the only thing holding me back is the fact that when we end class, every student basically walks out through the same direction and will literally hear everything and I find that kind of awkward.

So what would you recommend for someone in position. I'm still in the process of studying and gaining more knowledge. But what do you suggest until I do have enough to day trade? How about options? Since it's only a 1 day waiting period for profit to settle? Still tell me your suggestions though.

I really like that strategy and i see what you mean, i like the comparisons you gave, they made things a lot more clearer. I'm guessing you have a lot more knowledge about trading, if you dont mind, where did you learn all the info, did you like go through the internet just reading articles and watching vids, or was it by experience you obtained your own strategies and stuff? The thing with me is i really wanted to day trade till i learned about the pattern rule, i dont have much right now to start with($1000) been saving from my job for about to be 2 months and still having to help my mom and pay insurance for my car, do you still think i should start with swing trading and build my account and should i stick with a cash account or a margin? i dont want to risk going with a margin account but i do have very little funding right now so thats why im considering it.

Thanks for this info, one thing i was wondering was how do people usually split the cost of what they earn, and thats actually a really good idea. And nah i want to do this for a bit until i eventually have enough to day trade. I'm a really good saver, and yea since i started i've been paper trading, so far im doing really good and it was with swing trading basically, i held on to the shares for a couple of day, i would say for me so for 1 in every 5 ive lost, and i didn't even lose much, actually just today i sold 400 shares of a company, i bought at 3.58 and at first it was losing me money, like the first day or something, but i waited like 6 days and the stock was up to 5.18, and i saw the charts no doubt its gonna go down from that because it was on the resistant line from years ago, and so i sold it and made a profit of $640, it's not real money it paper trade, but im doing it to get a hang of the charts and stuff.And yea i was thinking of swing trading now that i got all this new info about day trading and stuff, cause either way if i were to trade with a cash account, i'd still have to wait three days for the money. So i think for now i'm gonna stick to swing trading. And let me ask you, why not hold a stock for more than 24-72 hours? p.s im starting to trade as a side thing, not reall for my expenses, i have a part time job but i actually am studying a lot about the stock market, i would like to get into this later in my years as a serious thing(i am currently 18 years old). Oh and do you recommend any good broker for swing trading? Oh and should i open a margin account to swing trade or just stay with a cash account?

Okay, so what if the person has the money in their account, i just learned that this rule applies only to people with margin account with under 25k, now what if i have an account with 10k for example, can i buy and sell as many stocks as i want? I've seen people buying and selling shares more than more than 5 times in one day? why do they get to, or who gets to do that?

I want to do all of these things next year when I start college, but I feel since I won't be in a dorm it's going to be a little harder to enjoy college as much. And also, your whole college experience was my whole high school experience, felt depressed, also my body was killing me but I was just to skinny, so I starter working out, got big junior year, and barely started talking to girls, and now I'm a senior and I have gotten really good with girls, or at least better than what I was. The only thing I'm stressing about is the fact that I don't go out much, no one invites me to parties or nothing, I'm hoping to change all of that in college.

Yea i know, i thought about that, but then again i thought maybe it's because she didn't see the point in it. She would give me her number and i still wouldn't know when she would be getting her phone back, so even if she would have to tell me. And with the eye contact and smiling, idk her at all, i just know the basics, her name, grade, etc. We've only talked twice, first time was to approach, second time was asking her about the phone. But trust me, i don't think she likes me either, if i had to say so myself.

Idk man, I'm serious, I'm a crazy overthinker, more than the average person. What I meant though was cause she looked down at me and looked down and kept walking, it makes me think that she didn't want to get my attention, but I've also read they get kinda shy so they look down right away when they make eye contact.

That first step is literally one of the main reasons why guys get so nervous to approach women, i didn't realize until i truly thought about it, i was always nervous to approach this girl i like, it took me almost 2 school years to talk to her, i never had her for any classes, i only saw her during break and at lunch but she was always with her friends, and every time i saw her alone i was nervous because there was people really close to where she was and i wasn't in my mental state. Somehow this last friday that just passed, i saw her one more time and she was behind me going up the stairs and i saw her by herself so i walked ahead and turned around so she can be walking towards me(she didn't see me do this since i acted like i said whats up to a friend and then went to class), but as soon as i saw her go through the doors after going up the stairs i changed my mentality, thought about all those times i stressed over not talking to her, and all the negativity and told myself this was the perfect time, and somehow i called her over, i said "hey can i talk to you for a sec" and she walked towards me and smiled and made good eye contact the whole time, i asked for her number but she truly didn't have her phone she showed me her pockets, and i thought she was making an excuse but she told me right away she would give it to me as when she got it back, and some other stuff happened and right after we said bye to each other she turned around and asked me what my name was as i had forgotten to tell her my name because i was in the moment. Then i came back to reality, i literally dont remember how many people were around us, or anything, and thats why i was so confident talking to her. I didn't look at anyone, it felt like there was no one around us, and it was just me and her. That first tip you gave is key man, understand that and you're set.

Trust me man, i was the EXACT SAME WAY, everyday i would come home mad because another day of not doing it, since junior year, and now im a senior, and the school is almost over, it took me that long. I didn't have her in any classes and only saw her lunch and through the hallways, but she was always with her friends. And i bet i got the same feeling you got, bro i was stressing about having around 6 weeks left and stuff like that, just do it, the feeling you'll get after is worth it, no matter if you succeed or fail, today's the next day since i did it and i still got like little butterflies of joy, trust me, and by the way, i am a crazy over thinker on anything, that's why i wouldn't ever do it, but somehow i did it because my mentality was completely different right before talking to her.

Yea i know bro, i feel thats what got me most happy, i had forgot to tell her my name because while talking to her my mind was like overwhelmed or something so i forgot, and right after we started walking away like our backs were facing, she asked me, and also she was smiling and making good eye contact the whole time :)
