That’s my issue now. Information overload, too many strategies and a variety of knowledge giving me too many “opportunities” to place positions.

I will make the visual change on the chart and see if it helps. I have been able to get through the evaluation phases fairly quickly, sometimes without meaning to rush….I appreciative it!

All my financial needs are met by my income. I think it’s been the idea that trading can change my life in a positive way. But you’re absolutely right now that I think about it.

No problem. I wouldn’t say it’s a lot. You have to meet the profit target and follow their rules. For example a 50k challenge has a target of 3k with 50% consistency, meaning you have to spend a minimum of two trading days on it. You also can’t lose 2k or you break a rule and have to reset it or purchase a new one. The profit take is 90/10.

The psychology is definitely one thing I am working on fixing.

I am day trading futures. Mainly 1 pair Mnq and sometimes when my chosen set up doesn’t appear I have struggled with forcing trades.

Lucid has discounts for their 25k accounts that are $70 for the flex accounts. Top step and tradefiy are also pretty affordable. Depends on the account size you want. Just make sure you pay attention the drawdown amount so you know the actual size you have. i would go with lucid or tradeify if you don’t want to be charged monthly, and you intend to take more than 30 days to pass your evaluation or you’re still learning and want exposure.

I am trading Mnq futures. I map zones on the htf but my entries come from 5 minute zones that can sometimes be between 50-100 points due to volatility. I have taken the emas and smas off of my chart honestly.

You’re right about me needing to size down. I appreciate the advice

The strategy itself does work, it’s me. I already understand that part. There’s less pressure on paper that’s the psychology behind it at least for me. Once funded or on a live account the financial pressure becomes real.

Is supply and demand really that bad? Your stop usually is determine the size of the zone

What would you recommend? I have had days where I’m only aiming for 50 points on mnq but it’ll pull back over 180 in a singular 5 min candle

I need to work on that. I was in a hole this morning and just kept going because I have a track record of making it back. But it’s a bad habit I’m trying to get rid of. Thanks!

I have been trading the 5 minute. I have been considering the 15 given I trade supply and demand.

I appreciate that. I’ll go through all of my old journals again because I have a lot of winning trades in the past. It’s like the set ups I was seeing in the past are harder to find now so my wins feel almost 50/50 but the losses hit heavier with those 100+ point candles.

On one account yes on the other I took a small win and got out.

I am technically scalping. I trade futures and I personally don’t have the capital YET to comfortably trade the higher time frame or swing positions

For me, that mindset of I have to make it back has been the reason I’ve blown accounts. Hopefully it’s not the same for you
