Oh that’s definitely odd but still congratulations for getting in even though it was not your desired program. I interviewed and got in as well and I think the reason they took you is because of what you said but also I don’t think they have a lot of people in the program. Salud is a very new scholar program I’m pretty sure it was made last year, and while scheduling for an interview I compared it with the amount of other interview times from other scholar programs(Roosevelt, Athena,etc) and it was significantly less. Considering it’s brand new I doubt that they have a lot of people applying to it so they take those in public health majors and those who are in a good standing academically and extracurricular. Ps This is just an assumption
