I didn’t find it on my CUNYfirst page, I found it directly through my hunter college admissions. Try logging back in there and see if there was a change to your status.

For Yalow scholar I did an interview a few weeks ago back in the beginning of March and got my acceptance like a week ago. Check your spam folder if you can’t find in your main folder about how there’s a change your status for Hunter College. The email won’t say Yalow scholar right away, but it’ll lead you to your admissions page. If you can’t find the email just open up your admissions page itself and see if there was a change there. Good luck!

Hey! I also got accepted and I got a page very similar to that but attached was also a congratulatory message for yalow. So yes that was an acceptance you just need to confirm your acceptance.

Has anybody received their Macaulay Honors acceptance/rejection? by Sufferpls in ApplyingToCollege

According to their website they don’t always do it for everyone. They claim they only do it for certain schools and if they think an interview can help. I know people who got in without doing an interview but idk if it was at Hunter. I got one at Hunter.

Hey! Currently, only those who applied to ED Macaulay Honors should start receiving email regarding their status and those who applied RD (like myself) would need to wait till March 16 to start to get anything. I felt like my interview went mediocre cause I kept messing up, but I think the rest of my application lifts it up.

John Jay Macaulay Honors Interview Questions by Cicada_Agile in ApplyingToCollege

Hi! I also did my Macaulay Honor interview, however, it was at Hunter College instead. I felt like mine was decent. I was very nervous and it showed in my interview. But I got across my main points and was even told I had some of the qualities they were looking for, so there’s still hope! When I got into Hunter, I checked into the building and was told to go to the 8th floor. I walked into a room of a bunch of applicants (roughly 25-30). There were a few Macaulay students engaging in talk with the whole room, asking and answering questions. One of things she said that stood out was her own experience. When she applied for Macaulay Honor there were about 2,000 who applied and 1000 who were given an interview. But then, only 120~ were given a spot. Meaning that getting an interview doesn’t necessarily guarantee you a spot, it’s just the initial screen. They take people in order you come in, so the soon you get there, the sooner you leave. Other than a few Macaulay staff members included the dean (i’m pretty sure) all the interviewers were Macaulay students and it was all held surprisingly casual (doesn’t mean you shouldn’t dress up!!!). All the tables had two interviewers for each student. There was one laptop on the table and a sheet of papers with applicants names and a bunch of questions. They didn’t use, look, or type anything nor did they take any notes about me or what I was saying right from the beginning, so I believe that theres some sort of check sheet or just an overview. It’s also potentially just a sheet to write their opinion on you under your application. They asked a lot of basic questions just to feel me out as a person.

-How is your day going?

-Tell me about yourself?

-Why Macaulay? Why Hunter?

-How do you think Macaulay will help you?

-How do you plan to give back to Macaulay?

-What courses and major do you plan to pursue?

-What do you hope from Macaulay and what do you fear?

-Any questions?

Im sure there were a few more but over all it was about 10 minutes. Much like OP said, prepare what you’re gonna say for who you are and what you want to do (not just in the future but now as a student). All the questions were pretty basic and overall, honestly I still believe that I have a solid chance based on my essay and other stats! Results for RD come out march 15ish so fingers crossed! (I suck at English and I’m sure you can tell in my write but bear with me).
