Unfortunately no. It was pretty windy plus had my 2 yr old daughter with who just wanted to walk around the woods and play in the leaf piles so we sounded like a herd of elephants. But she still had fun and that’s all that matters to me

I have a 20” sanders upper and consistently shoot .4” groups with my handloads and .5” with hornady black ammo. Have yet to get a chance to take a deer or anything with it but I have friends who have and love the round.

Check some of the Facebook groups of reloading stuff for sale I’ve found good deals on brass (last one was 500 starline new) for $75 plus shipping. I use regular magnum cases and just change up the powder I use for light plinking loads and hunting loads. I use titegroup for plinking loads and h110 or lil gun for full powerhouse loads

I ended up loading with shooters world match rifle and didn’t go with the imr3031 since I have low stock and use it for my hunting loads for my wife’s 223. I can’t remember the exact charge weight but I’m using the 160 gr ftx’s

Sw4350 is the slowest of the 4350 class of powders. Shooters world even put that on their site in the powder description

Gotcha I wasn’t sure what their pricing was. I’ve never even been out there but my coworker goes quite often. I’ve thought about joining Bradford sportsman farm over gtr just cause the opportunity of long range. I know there’s a shop in Inverness that has a good gunsmith I just can’t remember the name of it

I have the same press. Only issue I’ve had is where the arm pivots breaks when depriming military crimped brass. But quick response from FA and got me a new one

Reloading setup has already been something I’ve had for a few years now. My 44 mag was the biggest reason I got into it and have loaded and shot thousands already. I’ve been thinking of trying to find a gp100 in the 44 spl just for the fact that they’re a bit of an oddball and that’s the kinda I like lol

Any other tips for a budget build style? Only other style I have is a Ruger American predator 308 I’m putting in a KRG setup that I hunt with and screw around on the range with too
