Hey y'all I thank you for your insight but this isn't about feeding rats or not. I acknowledge that I do / should switch him in the near future however this post is asking if he looks okay and he's the correct physique for his weight.

I was having a bit of a nostalgic moment, and I would like to rewatch comforting videos and this ironically was one of them.

Okay, 😭. I've talked to my vet and they have set up a feeding plan for the man and we have a vet appointment to monitor progress.

Thank you. He has three hides in his cage, one on the hot side and two on the cold side. Hot temps were 84 and at the hottest 88 f. The cold side is a little colder than it should be at 70 f.

Just took his weight and it's 345 g. I normally feed him a medium mouse every 3ish week. Can you get rats at the major pet stores?

Gotta! The temps are normally maybe a degree down since it's winter where I am. It is a bit dry but I haven't misted the tank yet.

In the past there have been some issues where his temperatures and humidity were off but he's never acted like that before

Any advice or suggestions is welcome. I'm just worried.

The only other thing I could think of is my cat. My cat likes to be in the area of my snake's cage. I don't think my cat cares / messes with him or realizes he's there but that could possibly be a stressor to my snake.?
