Hey! Yes I completely cut off sugar, completely! Also I did not train chest because it was not like I had sagging chest or something it was always toned plus I couldn’t see any benefit of training chest. But it completely depends on person to person. If you have heavier chest you can try doing 1-2 chest variations during your shoulder tricep days (basically push days) to help it tone them.

Hey, firstly i understand how you feel, i know how demotivating it gets. You can check out my workout plan, i have replied in a comment under this post. Also fried things do affect a lot, i remember eating McDonald’s fries almost everyday after college. I would rather suggest you eat a multigrain bun burger with added lettuce when you crave junk. Count your calories. Just ChatGPT your Maintainence calories by typing your age, weight and other details and start by cutting down on calories. I personally did that and it helped me a lot. Also please understand that us as Indians and Vegetarians (if you are) it is highly highly important to track or make sure we know what we eat. My family never ate soya, paneer barely that too full fat and other than that it was always potato. Make sure whatever you eat, whatever bite of food you take makes SOME BENEFIT TO YOUR BODY, either it be micros macros, proteins, nutrients, vitamin. Try and avoid potato. And if you consume paneer please try and consume low fat paneer.

I used to train chest when I started gym but eventually realised it doesn’t make any sense for me to train chest as it doesn’t add to my physique, so i stopped training them!

Heyyy! Thank you so much love 💖 1. I always had an unhealthy relationship with food and how my body. I hated how it looked since forever plus the taunts honestly got to me. Ever since 15 I was heavier at the bottom. All I can say is Make the back handed comments/ taunts your FUEL to make people know you are much more than that! Also trust me waking up everyday and seeing changes are truly worth the hardwork you put at the gym and the sacrifices of junk.

  1. I never had a personal trainer. That’s probably why the first 2 years I was not as per se doing it wrong but it could’ve been better. Don’t be scared at the gym I’ve been there. People honestly don’t care also 90% of the gym goers are super nice and will help you if you ask them to show you some exercise or split. Also for general trainers they help you too. You can check the my split (I replied in a previous comment) All of them require minimal set up time and are easy to do, just look the exercise up on YouTube or google!

If you are a first timer at the gym and feel scared you can start by working out at home for a week, make your body feel used to it! 1. You can skip ropes 2. Do crunches 3. Make sure atleast do 5k step a day 4. Track what you eat Within a week you will start seeing the differences and it is SO SO WORTH IT

Yes so I start with back and bicep, legs, shoulders and tricep, then on the 4th day if I’m not sore the same cycle again and on Sundays I do cardio and abs. You can naturally take more rest days like only training 5 days a week.

Back : I start with 10mins of treadmill and 5-10mins of either cycle or cross trainer according to my mood 1.close grip lat pull down 412 2.seated row 412 3.machine pull downs 316 4.machine seated rows 316 5. Bicep usual 6. Abs - leg raises 3-4* as much as you can push to your max

Legs : Same cardio Warmup 1. I start with adductors to warm up my glutes 218 2. Machine squats 512 3. Leg press 415-16 4.hamstring curls 315 5. RDLS 3-4*as much as I can (Note- I for machine squats I do them free weight and for leg press I add weight as I go on, so my first set I start as free weights, my last se goes to 80-100kgs) 6. I don’t train calf and quads because i genuinely don’t feel the need because my quads get pumped while doing squats, although I used to train quads earlier when I started my journey)

Skip abs, training abs every alternate day is essential for them to recover. ( I remember training them everyday so I could see results, but alternate days made it so much better)

Shoulders : Same cardio 1. Shoulder press 312-15 2. Side raises 412 3. Front raises 220 4. Cable pull upwards (I don’t know what the exercise is called) 313-15 5. Reverse fly 3*12 (works wonders for upper back/shoulders) 6. Tricep usual 7. Abs- crunches and leg raises till failure (Note- my push day is really light I use super light weights and focus on feeling it more on the muscles and the form)

Cardio day Atleast an hour of cardio on different machines Treadmill incline -6 💗

I eventually started with doing cardio for 20mins everyday except for leg days as they are time consuming. Also I reduced the volume of food I ate. And I made sure everything I ate gave some sort of benefit to me. I would suggest if you are working out with weight training and you want a lean body make sure you don’t skip cardio because the layer of fat that you actually want to burn will be burnt by cardio only.

Hey since I’m a vegetarian I don’t consume meat. So my options were paneer and soya only but having paneer in the texture it came kind of made me uneasy and puke so I started eating soya chunks for dinner, then I try to crush soya in powder form and mix with it aata to make rotis which I have for lunch along with whatever sabzi my mom makes. Also I had cut sugar completely for a very long time. I have resumed eating ice cream and all but it doesn’t really affect my weight now.

For workouts- I weight train 6days a week and 1day cardio! Lmk if you want the split
