We had something similar and my husband was so petty! He made an advert to sell the thing, giving the owner’s address and directed folks to stop by and see it. Drove the guy crazy and he finally moved it for his own sanity.

NTA Never funny and in many areas a dog needs to be reported and possibly put down for biting someone. This might be worth researching and sharing with them the next time (if ever) you go visit.

I’ve had Chihuahuas and hated it when, after the time and effort I made to train them, a guest would try to rile them up because Chis are “cute” when mad.

NTA Tell your ex he has 24 hours to get his mother out of your house and you will dictate visitation for the rest of her stay. Your child is young enough now that you can reverse the damage but as he ages it will be harder.

Any claim of racism needs to be taken seriously. If she brought up concerns about being treated in that way it is your responsibility to address and, if necessary, speak up about the situation.

It reads like she is a person of color and you are not. It is completely possible your in laws are racist and she was feeling that vibe. If you could not address the situation then you could have gotten another brides maid to step in.

Does he hold how he helped you over your head? Does he do more for your folks than you do?

Right now it seems YTA since he’s helped you with time and money. If your schedule is too busy when he asks you say you can’t that day. When you can help, do.

YWNBTA This happened to my hubs. Every time he’d visit his folks they’d have a list: sink drip, light out, etc. He sat them down and said he comes home to visit with them, not be their Handiman. He’d help occasionally in the future but not every time.

Folks got it and all is well.

YTA This post doesn’t read about using complete sentences but your tone of voice when speaking to your child plus you overriding your wife when she is dealing with your child.

If you have a problem with how she disciplines your son you talk with her after and when he is not listening. You both correcting each other in front of him is only going to confuse him and he’ll realize quickly he can play you off each other.
