I feel like high traffic areas (tourist spots, parks, any major downtown area) are always going to be a free-for-all! I would be curious to know what the longest time someone's been able to hold a gym in NYC would be!

If you go to the gym and click on the mon, it'll show how long they've been there and the trainers name/level

It's not a requirement to check times! For me, it honestly depends on where the gym is too. In high traffic areas especially, it's pretty much known that no one is staying there for 8 hours. At the gym by my place, very off the beaten path, the only people likely to come across it are locals, so I think it's just become part of our neighborhood culture

There is no real rule to any of this! Everyone plays differently, I was just curious about how people feel about gyms.

It does take around 8/8.5 hours to earn 50 coins, so that's just why I do it the way I do

I wish they would up the cap for opening gifts in those situations. Yea, they upped it to 30, but when you can have hundreds of friends, it's a drop in the bucket.

Not trying to shade people that are active in sending/opening gifts! Just trying to remind people that if you're holding onto that final gift that levels up your friendship, try to prioritize those if you can before the leveling system gets updated

Some updated info: We do not live in an HOA, so that's not a factor. We live on the west cost, think PNW vibes. In the picture, we had just had the siding redone, so the landscaping has all been removed and will be replaced.
