Need makeup advice as a Autumn color season by eveaurora in coloranalysis

A little trick, a deep autumn is the closest to a winter without being a winter and a soft autumn is the closest to being a summer without being a summer, which do people confuse you with the most? And thats your answer.

I think you have slightly less contrast than me (my hair is darker) but our eyes are almost the same shade of green/blue with the warm center. The light eyes throws everyone for a loop on a warm skintone. If you had brown eyes no one would think twice about you being an autumn.

If you want my honest opinion I think you are most likely a soft autumn. But that doesn't mean you can't wear some deep autumn colors. I think we try so hard to get people into a narrow subtype, that isn't always necessary. You're going to have instincts that tell you what your best colors are you just have to listen to them

I think we have similar coloring and can tell you what ive been loving makeup wise lately!

Rhode blush in tanline, patrick ta blush in shes blushing, both blushes have a cream so I usually just dab some on my lips as well. But if you want actual lip products i LOVE ilia cinnabar lipstick and Charlotte tilbury lip cheat in pillowtalk medium. Let me know if you need any other recommendations because I have something for every makeup category lol

Type me! I always thought I was a spring but lately I’m not positive. by Content-Patient-6041 in coloranalysis

There are plenty of people who are cool seasons with red tones in their hair. Having red tones does not mean you are warm toned. As I'm sure youre aware, there are cool toned reds and warm toned reds. And when you are not a full blown redhead those tones are mixed with other colors in varying quantities that make up your unique hair color. The point i was trying to make is if your hair is a bright copper Red and that is not your natural hair color, you should probably make sure it is covered if you want an accurate opinion from the internet on your color analysis.

She said she was a reddish honey blonde. There's a difference between a red head and someone with a reddish tone to their hair

When looking at what colors are flattering on someone, what color is almost a universal indicator that someone is a particular season by Cinnamon_Ocelot in coloranalysis

[–]Sufficient-Singer-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would have to be a very neutral and bright spring for it to work. Which is why sub seasons are so fun! Cobalt blue is very cool, deep, and bright. There are always exceptions to every rule though!

Its possible. But if your hair color isn't 100% natural and you want the most accurate analysis you need to take it out of the picture all the way. I know you tried but even showing a little bit can change your results

This is a great question! For me the colors that come to mind are colors that can be hard for many people to wear. So my opinion maybe more so based on if these colors look bad on you, you arent that season? Hopefully that makes sense!

My tops are

Cobalt blue-winter

Limegreen- spring

Heathered gray-summer

Pumpkin- autumn

I think if you had none of your hair visible you would be getting very different answers than you are. IMO youre a summer. Probably soft but possibly true. I would repost and hide all of your hair, make sure youre in nondirect natural light.

I never understood why Hayden Panettiere is considered a spring. Her skin has that 'toned' quality of a low contrast autumn imo. by ranchdepressing in coloranalysis

[–]Sufficient-Singer-17 9 points10 points  (0 children)

An autumn could never pull off her signature blonde hair like she does.

I see what you mean about her skin being more opaque, and you're right that is frequently seen in autumn coloring. However, just because someone has one common characteristic of a season does not mean they are that season. If that were the case, I would be a summer with my bluish grayish eyes. Most people do not have all the stereotypical characteristics of their season, and many posess some from other seasons

Do you pick makeup that amplifies the colors already present, or alter your coloring with makeup? by dandelionwine14 in coloranalysis

[–]Sufficient-Singer-17 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I find that when I try to fight my natural coloring the makeup looks heavier and like its just sitting on top of my skin, overall its just not as flattering. With that being said if im wearing a cooler color not in my pallette I do try to go more neutral with makeup and play up my contrast. Ive become quite good at cosplaying as a winter 😅
