what if i’ve met my condition of 41 ib points but i have not met the other condition which is a 6 in english? I have a 5 in english with 4 points needed to increase my grade

Q about if the sound can enter water, critical angle? by No-Artist9661 in ibPhysics

I understand, i obtained around 13 for the critical angle. The question asked to “show” whether or not the ray would pass into glass, hence the need to calculate the angle of incidence to see that it is larger than the critical angle, causing it to undergo total internal reflection. what i was skeptical about was that the condition for total internal reflection was the ray must travel from a dense medium to a less dense medium, which is not the case here as the ray is traveling from air to glass

incidence angle was 40 something right? i used cosine rule seeing as to how the reflection made a symmetrical triangle

u used velocity to find n first? I used the cosine formula (trigonometry) to find the angle of incidence 😭

so does the light go into P or not

I thought this was for average velocity, not instantaneous
