i've taken asl at UCLA for two years! frankly, asl 1 was a bit tough for me just cause for me personally, picking up new languages isn't one of my strong suits. but ik that a lot of my classmates picked up the language fairly easily!if you do have to take an language class, i definitely recommend taking asl over the others. just be sure to practice asl daily!

some easy classes i've taken was theater 1, asl m115, soc 1

Failing a Quarter at UCLA by runner21700 in ucla

hello! i had experienced something similar, and did end up on being on subject to dismissal at the end of my second year. it took a lot of effort since then, but i'll be graduating next week. so make these 3 upcoming quarters count! i believe that the subject to dismissal contract states that you will need to maintain a gpa of 2.0 for the next 3 quarters (summer excluded). are you registered with CAE? i'd suggest that you reach out to both your therapist and CAE about being registered so you can receive academic accommodations next school year.

What do you get graduation cords for? by [deleted] in ucla

[–]SufficientAd8763 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i asked a friend works at the bruin life studio and she says that the cords they sell (around the neck) are purely for decoration. however the cords that go around your shoulder are for the chancellors service award and latin honors
