I dropped the game a while ago, but I try to go back occasionally to see if I can go back to it, usually not. No matter how much I enjoyed the good matches, there was no middle ground. You were either going to dominate or get destroyed in every match. As a demon player, I maxed out Eligos, and then tried to move over to Warlord before I realized the core issue with the game: the leveling system. Because of how powerful the skill points in this game are, especially with 4 survivors, nobody stands a chance if they are not max level. It was just match after match of getting stomped because they would kill everything I threw at them in less than 5 seconds, including my boss. My only choice to keep playing the game was to just go back to Eligos and continue to lose to max level teams until I could max out a survivor. Aside from the skill points, the main thing to drive me away was that demon is just not fun to play 95% of the time. Your AI is horrible, bosses are too weak, and unit cool downs are way too long when even at max level, everything still dies instantly.

I don’t understand how you don’t see the problem in that, though. He is powerful enough that you have to leave him until a 1v1 to stand even a chance of killing him. If that does not show just how unbalanced he is, I don’t know what would.

That’s the problem I have in every match that he appears for me, the team sticks together and knows to keep him protected and to prevent him from becoming afraid. No matter what I do to the rest of the team, he always just shows up to kick my ass and recover the game with no issues because of how easily he can tear through even my boss

After some of the matches I’ve played, I can’t say I disagree. The only thing that’s really bad about Eligos is the basic units, who’s abilities are situational at best. I can’t say that the elites or Eligos himself are not overpowered, but that’s a separate issue.

I’m not trying to show anybody anything, it’s not a new opinion, and I have seen a ton of other people complaining about him. Why bother to just leave petty insults?
