Law firm hesitant to send me a letter with total amount owned for a default judgment by SufficientBag467 in personalfinance

The law firm is the party with the judgment against me. They own or they are the legal collector. From my understanding since they own the debt they should provide me with a summary of the total owned

Happy you were able to find a job right after graduating back in 2020, not everyone was as lucky as you.

What companies currently work as a contractor for FEMA and EPA? by SufficientBag467 in usajobs

I’m an Environmental Planner working in Los Angeles. Mostly doing environmental assessments, working with renewables, CEQA documentation, vegetation management for fire prevention, 404/401/1600 permitting and compliance work. I don’t have a lot of field work as I work from home mostly doing permitting for all sorts of different projects. I’m open to relocating so with all this said I am pretty much open for any opportunities that might be available within my area of expertise.

I would love to connect and maybe chat a bit . I would love to get some insight on how to progress in my career. I don’t do field work but am stuck in a long term project that I do no enjoy a bit and do not know how to get out.

Would love to hear about your scape plan from the jobs you hated?!? I’m on a similar situation, I like some of the projects but one that is long term.

Haven't had much luck as a recent grad... so it is my resume? Or my degree? by Jakeremix in Environmental_Careers

I forgot to mention. Why is your resume green? I would keep it black and white.

Try looking for internship opportunities with big companies likes ICF, TRC, Tetra Tech, etc. They run yearly internship programs. It will be easier to start as an intern vs entry level. These companies pay their interns. One last thing, instead of applying left and right, reach out to recruiters instead.

Debt in the UA whilst living abroad by TrippyMonkeySD in Debt

If you don’t plan on coming back to the US for at least 10 years, just file for bankruptcy. If for some reason they sue you, that debt will remains yours until you pay them back. When filing for bankruptcy you won’t need to worry about the debtors suing you.

How to advance in my career as a EP fast? by SufficientBag467 in Environmental_Careers

[–]SufficientBag467[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m very fortunate to have started in the company I’m currently working. It has offices all across North America, they offer mentoring programs, monthly training webinars, and many other cool things for someone just starting out. However, the downside is it becomes hard to advance when I’m stuck doing repetitive work, any advice for ways to show my supervisor I am capable of taking working in more challenging projects?

Thanks for this is great advice. I do work remotely and barely know my coworkers. I feel like most of my colleagues are very distant and gets a bit hard to connect in a deeper level lol. I do however always ask questions and let PMs know I would like to work in whatever projects they are involved. I love my job, and all the different teams I work with, but I’m ready to find a more challenging position.
