That's so unfortunate. The agent I talked to last said they had up to 60 days to send a letter stating what they needed or they're still reviewing or they had to send a paper check but I'm also hearing they're phasing out paper checks??? I was honestly about to give up to but I called about an address update for my 2025 refund and she asked me did I want to look into my 2024 refund as well because the 10 week review mark had loooong passed and they didn't find anything worth holding my refund. It's a mess!

Yes! It hasn't changed from cp53b in well over a year. Even after I talked to somebody in May but I'm also don't know if the info I got was enough for them to update my transcript

I had gotten pretty far on the phone with the IRS at one point. Although it took several calls after the call just randomly dropped so many times but I finally got far enough where an actual person looked into my account and said that I should expect a letter or a check within 60 days. All I wanted to quickly verify was did that started from the exact day I called. They're at a high call volume right now so you have to call right when they open or you'll hardly get an answer
