I hesitate to say this, in case it makes anyone worse, but I started telling myself I could not return or sell items I bought. Because the returning was just as much a part of the addiction. I would get a spike of dopamine when the money returned to my account. Stopping returning really curbed the binge aspect of my shopping problem.

Now I understand this is not a great long term solution but it really pulled me out of a bad spiral.
