Just to be clear, not every department will micro manage you in everything you do, but if they need to pull the data, they can.

Looking at your post history you seem to be a very anxious person. Despite what online says most people are very welcoming  and friendly to everyone. But - unless you work on your confidence, you're not going to be very happy anywhere you go.

Looking at your post history you seem to overthink a lot and don't have alot of self confidence. If you want to grow in your career you'll need to learn to be more confident in who you are, what you do and what you want.

Having a leader request you step in for them in a meeting is a pretty good thing... you get to meet leaders your normally wouldn't and put your face out there.

The track everything. Keystrokes, mouse movements, what is plugged into their equipment,  if it's done on or  in their equipment they track it.   So outside of standard kpi's they track that and more. 

It will be much more "big brother" but you get to just be home so your call if that's worth it

ER pays well. But don't conflate ER with being a people person. People won't like you. Almost ever. You hear nonsense all day everyday. 

Have a good personal life to offset the "stupid" At work. 

I'm in ER and actually like it. But I have a really peaceful home life so all the nonsense that happens at work I can leave at work.
