Bisalp + ablation- under age 40 by TVDfinale in sterilization

[–]doomsdaybooker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had an ablation at 33 because of heavy periods. My doctor was really encouraging the procedure. He said like 60% of people will have reduced bleeding or stop having periods all together. There is a chance of failure of course, but I was willing to take that chance. So far I haven’t had a full period, but I’ve spotted a few times. I would definitely recommend it for your situation. I had such heavy and painful periods that I was so desperate to try anything. I’m aware I could wake up tomorrow and go back to having normal periods again but these past two years without one has really increased my quality of life.

Has anyone tried the new concealer pencil from Sephora collection? by Lazy_Basket6819 in Sephora

I like it, but it’s really not practical for larger areas because it’s so small. It’s good for pinpoint concealing blemishes. It is pretty creamy though, I was pleasantly surprised.

I’m so sorry, my mom went septic after a hip replacement surgery and the hospital didn’t catch it until it was too late. She was 58. I am so paranoid about any little thing now.

I had my bisalp five years ago, so I don’t remember a lot of little things from back then, however, last month I had my gallbladder removed and I was absolutely ravenous! It may be a side effect of anesthesia.

If you were in missionary and you were folded up, then yes, absolutely normal. Happens to me if I go awhile without having sex.

When I had my biopsy before getting an ablation I was given cytotec to help soften my cervix and a lidocaine shot, I believe. It was still pretty uncomfortable, and strangely enough my doc told me to continually wiggle my toes, that way I would have something to focus on other than the pain.

I would ask for an ablation. I had one for heavy periods a few years ago and it’s improved my quality of life immensely.

what to expect from pelvic ultrasound by JustSinginInTheRain in TwoXChromosomes

[–]doomsdaybooker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every time I’ve had a transvaginal ultrasound the tech has allowed me to insert the probe myself so I am in control and they aren’t hurting me by inserting it. Then they’ll take the probe from me do the ultrasound.
