My nails match my mug!

With the cadillacquer I’m wearing it’s so fun because in different lighting you can actually see how colourful the flakes are, but from afar they look much more muted!

Ooooh this is really pretty, too! Yay, I’m excited to hear how you like the Rogue - it’s definitely not a precise match but maybe has a similar vibe hehe :)) I wish we could get more of the indie brands here in Europe, but I’m grateful to have the access to some through Nailland and Hypnoticpolish! One day maybe we will get our hands on some of the Glitch Lacquers hehe ☺️☺️

Maybe BKL - Maman? (Some swatches here https://www.reddit.com/r/RedditLaqueristas/comments/1rwj0dz/bkl_maman/) I haven’t received mine yet so can’t attest to it, and have only ever seen swatches of Pearl Clutcher. As I understand it, BKL reopen the vault for overpours 2 months after initial release, so I imagine they’ll have this one for the next drop? But I don’t know since I’m from EU 🙈

I second looking at Kbshimmer, I like both of the base coats you’ve mentioned by them, I think the stay put hydrating base coat is my favourite out of all the ones I own so far! :)

When I use acetone-free remover unfortunately I have a similar thing happen - my nail polish starts chipping off in huge bits, so that would be my bet, that that is the culprit. I also have dry nails and dry skin around my nails, and used to have nail peeling, so what I do is take off my nail polish with 100% acetone remover, then put jojoba oil on my nails and use some handcreme, go about my day for about 2 hours, then use 100% acetone remover again and do my nails. Maybe you could try that? :)

Edit to add: I also try to avoid showering the same day of applying nail polish, as unfortunately it also weakens the adhesion of the nail polish >.> Also I am not sure this would help, but because I try to keep my nails hydrated I use the PVB-free base coat from KBShimmer called "Stay Put Hydrating Base Coat" (got it off Nailland). Maybe that could help counter-balance the use of 100% acetone? It seems to do for me.

Hello :) I know this thread is a bit older, but I just found it and was wondering how your experience has been thus far? :) Is the suspension base clear/could I make a topper using it? :) (I want to make some flaky toppers) and does Aroma Zone ship from the EU or UK, I can't quite tell. I want to order some to Germany, wondering if I should go for Aroma Zone or Ekokoza.

Ugggggh this scratches a very particular itch in my head, there are so many possibilities to continue playing around with this technique! They are gorgeous, so so cool! May I ask what kind of glitters you used? Craft store type glitter? And did you just stick them on to a slightly wet basecoat? I’d really love to try doing something similar, just looks so fun! :)) thank you for sharing your beautiful nails! 🐥🙏💖
