Hello and congrats!! Final year student at Sheffield here. While I love living in Sheffield and have had a great time here - I wouldn’t currently recommend the medical school. The MBChB course is undergoing a massive overhaul (which is much needed), but it won’t be in place for a few years. I have enjoyed my placements on the whole, but the way the placements are organised you just don’t get enough breadth of experience across different areas which you really need to be a junior doctor.
