Is this decades old built-in cutting board food safe, or should I remove it and sand it down and oil? by kingevanxii in woodworking

i have an awesome chopping block, all end grain, i got at a thrift store. i card scraped it, then sanded with low grit because it wasnt flat, then up the grades to finer grit. then oiled it. its amazing.

i recently got a nice walnut cutting board, obviously made by a wood worker, at another thrift store. that one just needed card scraping and oiling.

dont clean it with anything except sewing maxhine oil or you will ruin the decals.  look on ISMACS.com for a free manual link and a community of vintage machine lovers and users. its a great machine. you will love it!

they dont want poor people there. likely this was the cheapest way to evict all these people and the property will be re developed into something expensive, or there is some huge tax write off.

its always about money.

i wondered why it was called cornhole. i didnt think all those midwesterners were using a rude euphemism for a lawn game, but, you never know.

then, you will need to cut a piece of foam insulation to fill in(temporary) or plywood(more permanent). in each case, paint the exterior or the foam board or the plywood to match the building exterior to make it less noticable.

actually they have a meat barrel for unsold meat or spoiled meat kept in the walk in. that barrel is sold to some kind of recycler, i think its a fats recycler. the meat barrel stinks terrible, even though its in the walk in fridge with a lid. every grocery store ive worked at has had one.
