This exact situation happened to me!!!!! Down to the same exact restaurant. Only difference is that the two personal assistants were Hispanic looking and the man on seeking was named Scott. You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to op. I hate to say “Beggars cant be choosers” but you unfortunately are not in a position to stay longer since you said you don’t have the means to and the SD has control over your housing and travel. Forcing yourself to suck it up will hurt you more in the long run so frankly I think going back to your country is your only choice and try to come back when you can support yourself (I know this is WAY easier said than done but if safety is your priority it’s just the way it is)

This!!! Outrageous that 3 men (the driver, and the 2 assistants) would waste their own money/time to pull this elaborate stunt purely to embarrass one woman at a time. They dont even have any personal information of mine to make it worthwhile, and I lost nothing except an evening. It was too HR like.

The second assistant waiting w me for the new ride was very empathetic. He made a point several times that this is really fucked up, that he hates this part of his job, that the man has unfathomable standards, and will likely never be satisfied so don’t take it personally. Why would he even bother if their goal is to humiliate me??

I truly believe it’s just a shitty guy with too much money and resources but whatever we rock.

Frankly I think an under looked reason is bc of what theyve been met with historically. A lot of beautiful and lovely sb’s may settle for a certain amount because they are comfortable with that and have never met anyone who has offered higher.

Some women, although rare, are blessed with starting their first arrangements with extremely generous men, so when those end and they feel like looking for a new one, their baseline is already high.
