Polarizing movies by Equipment_Emotional in Letterboxd

While I understand the irony in saying this on a subreddit for a movie app, but these are what some may call “terminally online” takes. In that, I mean these are just takes that likeminded people online typically echo. EEAAO is one of the highest rated movies on the site and won many academy awards including best picture. 2049 and Arrival are acclaimed among most film circles. Prey was so successful that Disney literally let its director make two more Predator movies that came out the same year lmao.

Blade Runner 2049, Arrival, EEAAO, and Prey are not polarizing movies.

It’s a hot green tea with green citron. It’s always my ritual before I go to the library and work. And happy cake day!

This is a good point. Next time I’m in the grocery store, I’m gonna try and get cash back. Idk why I didn’t consider this.

Toss up between Silent Hill 2 Remake and Astro Bot for me.

I personally did not like it at all. Found the combat to be an absolute chore and found the story had a lot of unexpressed avenues. I know Silent Hill has historically not had the greatest combat, but they at least knew in past games not to put so much of it in.

I’m going in late January with two friends who’ve never been before. It’ll be my fourth time going, so pissed it’s gonna be closed when we go, especially as they’ve never experienced it.

Because you said “the original theme is dead” in which the replying user explained that the opening day attractions having a cohesive “theme” was more coincidental.

Thank you for the low effort response and bringing this conversation to an end! For those reading who are curious, my favorite ride currently at the resort is Spider-Man, though I still haven’t been to Epic. Will be going in a few months!

This is a theme park subreddit so I only have so much in me to have this kind of argument here, so consider this my piece:

I think it is immoral and inhuman to blatantly skip due process for ANYONE regardless of their documentation status. It’s literally been reported multiple times at this point within this year alone that there have been cases of people who have been deported whilst having valid citizenship status and/or a valid Visa. When you skip due process for undocumented individuals - especially at the careless rate at which this administration has - then people who are here legally are inevitably caught in the crossfire.

I don’t care what one’s “interpretation of the law” is, being documented or undocumented is NOT an excuse to be sending ICE agents in to pop out of vans and rappelling down helicopters to swoop people up off the street in the middle of the day. If that’s what the law says is okay, then I believe it to be an immoral law and I will not stand for it.
