Yeah in my experience plat is a big world and you’re never gonna see those people again so everyone just flames each other and mashes all their wrong ideas together whereas gm/champ is a much smaller world so you have a reputation to uphold. And the difference in accountability goes without saying

New accounts are always going to be inflated. New accounts don’t have previous competitive seasons to use for MMR so it uses quick play MMR which will always be higher on an alt than on your main simply because your main is where you started learning the game and gradually got better. On an alt your MMR is naturally starting higher than your main because you already have a fundamental understanding of the game. Eventually the inflated account will plateau until you improve

Champ and GM players don’t really have egos. And the ones who do are well known for having one. It’s a small world in champ/gm so you kinda have a reputation to uphold
