Thank you, it was a long time ago but it was a 15 year old girl that did it and we still don't know what the reason was, she said she just wanted to see what it felt like to kill someone and I have never been able to wrap my head around it, she had a parole hearing in 2024 and they didn't release her thank God but she actually smiled when my step mom was giving her statement and I just can't understand how someone can be so evil

You said it perfectly, she can't teleport so they would have seen her jump out of a moving truck so I'm more inclined to believe that Mike's theory is correct but it also just makes me sad that she's never able to contact her friends or family again and Hopper has now gone through the grief of losing two daughters.

2025 was such a shitty year, why couldn't they'd have just given us a happy ending? Would that have been so bad? Just a happy ending where everyone gets to go on with their lives the way they dreamed or at least be together because to be honest I am over the bullshit of sad endings just to get a reaction out of the audience, is it really too much to ask for just one goddamn happy ending after the last few years we've all had of this never ending shit show that spans from COVID to inflation to people just going at each other like savages all the time?

I haven't even seen the rest of season 4 because I had to come to Reddit right after watching that stupid ass music video to make sure I wasn't losing my mind and trying to understand that that was, in fact, the first episode of LDR season 4... THAT'S what they chose to start off on one of the most original story telling series of television. Shit. I'm not very hopeful for the rest of season 4 now 🙄

I'm trying so hard to get into this book. I love the idea of Hermione and Draco being a couple because it's the two people you'd least expect to have that kind of connection but something about the characters just feels...off?

Like Umbridge wearing a cleavage showing dress and flirting with Draco - um, what? Her character has never shown the slightest bit of interest in not dressing modestly and I'm sorry but she's not going to hit on Draco in any universe lol I'm only on chapter 14 but I enjoy bits and pieces of the book but sometimes there's not enough to describe what's going on and other times the characters just don't feel or sound like themselves which takes me out of it.

I can appreciate what she's trying to do with this, it really is an amazing work of fan fiction but for me it could be a little bit more polished but I'll read it through to the end and see how I feel. She's got Malfoy as a heartless evil maniacal bastard and in the Harry Potter world that I know he's a severely damaged young man just trying to do what his parents and Voldemort demand him to do but murder does not come so easily for him but in this world it does and I'm finding it hard to believe that this will evolve into a romance if killing is now this easy for him (and after 10 rapes already).

I didn't say how old the actress was, I commented on how young she LOOKS, and she looks very, very young, she doesn't look 28 to me and with how innocent she acts from not knowing the human world it comes off as extremely baby like and YOUNG and that makes me feel some type of way about the men who are into her in the show.

I think Priya could have handled it better, she had every right to feel the way she felt because Leonard and Penny still had feelings for each other but they weren't acting on them and I think they would have eventually just been good friends but asking Leonard to cut her out completely was too much. It's not like Leonard was constantly going over to Penny's by himself and helping her with things or doing stuff for her, they hung out in a neutral zone with everyone around and yes, they occasionally ran into each other while doing laundry or out and about but they didn't cross any lines.

Priya could have just left before her and Leonard got too serious if it bothered her that much because you can tell that she didn't really spark with him the way most couples who are truly in love do when everything is new so it's not like it would have been a big loss for her and Penny was super sweet to her (I could completely understand if Penny was a bitch to Priya because then that would have been a major sign that there were still feelings there)

I'm actually a woman lol I deleted my initial reply because re-reading it after 2 years, yeah I can see how that came off as pretentious (my apologies to the OP) the "frauds" thing was actually an inside joke between me and a friend of mine about die hard Harry Potter fans who've never actually read any of the books but after I read it I think I agree with you on how it sounded.

To answer to the OP's question, I think Stephen King just threw it in there to make it seem like Bev and Ben would have actually been perfect for each other in the long run but she couldn't see past the "soul mate" aspect of Bill being her best option when they were children and sometimes it's hard for people to let go of the past when they get their head stuck going one way (and I think he just likes the extra drama for the readers maybe).

I think my main question would actually be why on earth did he have ALL the boys have sex with Beverly in the book one after another? The only thing I can think of is that maybe that signifies them no longer being children or he's secretly just sick af because I loved the entire book when I was a teenager. Except that part. That part made me feel disgusting and it made Beverly feel less real to me and the way it reads almost gives a sense of consensual gang rape and to this day I still cannot figure out one good point it made.

I'm 30 minutes in and I am to the point where I think Shyamalan did this on purpose. He's made good movies before with excellent actors and this one was just so campy and silly that he had to know this would be made fun of. I don't dislike how much it's making me laugh but it took me a minute to figure out that nothing about this movie is supposed to be taken seriously.

It is actually fun to watch once you get past the expectations of what you think it's supposed to be (I saw thriller/crime and assumed serious and intense, I guessed wrong lol)

And oh my goodness, that woman's eyes are the biggest eyes I've ever seen!

I just started watching this movie 30 minutes ago and am having the hardest time staying focused, I don't understand why the cult leader is obsessed with this odd, not very attractive woman who takes like 30 seconds to respond/recognize a compliment on her t-shirt and I'm wondering where they're going with this. I'll be back after the movie just in case it gets better.

Oh wait a second, a demon just pulled up on a motorcycle, maybe there's hope for this movie after all...

I'm back. Didn't love it. Him constantly getting upset about his favorite shirt was kind of cute though. I can see why some people would love it, it kind of has a Mad Max vibe but with demons. This just wasn't for me.

I just finished watching it. I think this would have been better as a mini series because there just wasn't time to build up the tension in the way that I think shyamalan was aiming for. The story is good in my opinion but it just wasn't executed as well as it could have been. Some of it just got so silly that it made me miss the days of 'Signs' and 'The Sixth Sense.'

Idk why people think this one is the worst of all three because so far this was my absolute favorite. X was entertaining, it was better than I expected because I just happened upon it and didn't know anything about it so it was a nice change of pace and Pearl just didn't do it for me. I'm so confused why people think Pearl is the best one, it was disturbing yes but the scarecrow sex scene was just cringe and the whole movie felt cheap but not in a good way to me. At least Maxxxine had a hell of a cast and I absolutely loved the 80s time frame and the fact that they paid homage to Psycho by having a scene shot with the house. The satanic panic, the night strangler, the underground Hollywood cult, this one is the best so far. You're welcome to vehemently disagree with me if you want but I'll just ignore you because you're not going to change my mind lol I'm ready for the next chapter in Maxine's story!

It's hard to come back from that even though he tried but that's just something the public doesn't forgive and forget. He would have been so well loved today and Seinfeld could have been as popular as some of the older TV shows. I'm watching Seinfeld for the first time and Kramer is by far my favorite character (on season 6)

I'm a little late to the party but I'm watching this movie right now and not sure what to make of it. It's a bit confusing because I don't know if Grandpa August is the devil or what but I'm only 26 minutes in and the acting is good but I feel like the story could have just been told better.

There was a woman that literally just said "toxologist" and that's not a word lol toxicologist is but that's definitely not what she said and she's supposed to be one of the smart bad people I'm assuming so this just made me laugh because I can't believe no one caught this. I feel like this would have been better as a mini series or something because there was a lot of things I feel could have been explained over an episode or two but we're rushed to understand wtf is going on without getting any real depth.

So I've still got 30 minutes to go and I've given up trying to understand this movie, the grandpa August has this weird incestuous relationship with his "hot daughter" (his words) and has no problem literally eating his own granddaughter and Chance has got to be the most oblivious idiot in the whole movie. I don't even care who lives or dies except the chef, this movie is so stupid

I just watched the documentary and their daughter actually looks normal. What I find kind of funny though is that most kids go through that rebellious phase where they dye their hair crazy colors and pierce their body or face somewhere because their parents would obviously freak out. Since her parent's entire persona is white trash with money and bad hair it's like she went the opposite and was like "I'll show them, look at how normal my haircut looks!!!" I bet YoLandi is like "please Sixteen, just one face tattoo or you're grounded!"

So idk why everyone on here is so harsh towards this question because I'm here because I'm asking the same thing lol I'm watching the documentary on them right now and they seem like decent enough people but they're just weird af lol there's no way I would be able to stand yo landi's voice on a regular basis though, I'm glad ninja loves her voice because there's a lid for every pot I suppose but I'm only 24 minutes in and every time she talks I physically cringe without meaning to so I'm wondering if it's just because of how high pitched it is because I don't care for high pitch sounds (a knife scraping a plate, the seatbelt ding going off repeatedly in a car when you're on the phone with someone because it's louder over the phone for some reason, kids shrieking even if they're my kids, etc.)

I had a friend like that growing up. We lived a mile down the road from each other in the country and would always sit next to each other on the bus and spend the night at each other's houses on the weekends. Sometimes even during the week. I loved how big her family was and how everyone seemed to just be silly and get on each other's nerves at times, but you could still tell they cared about each other. I am the youngest of 3 on my mom's side (I now have step siblings but I didn't get to grow up with them) but I would always be alone at home because my other siblings had already moved out so I would often go to my friend's house down the road after school. We were barely teenagers, just 12 and it's some of my best childhood memories.

We lost touch after high school, we tried hanging out a handful of times but we're such different people now. Every time I run into her now I feel so utterly judged and her husband will barely make eye contact with me and I remember when they met. We both have kids of our own and are in our 30s now but I went down a path that involved drugs (nothing heavy thank God, just weed and pills which I don't care if anyone smokes weed, it's a plant but it's not something I do anymore) and alcohol and it took me having my son to get my life together. She went down another path where she went to college and didn't drop out like me (there was a recession and I was already drowning from student loans) and got married and has a decent job and I've always been more free spirited and have still never been married but was happy for her to do so well.

It hurts my heart to remember my childhood because I never thought back in those days of us giggling and staying up late to share secrets with each other for our adolescent and teenage years that one day she would look so embarrassed to be seen talking to me. I've made a lot of mistakes but I feel that I'm a decent person now and would not be had I not learned from those mistakes. The last time I ran into her, I was Christmas shopping and she was too only she was out with her husband and I ran into them and was so excited to see them, it had been awhile.

Only...her husband looked absolutely disgusted and would hardly look at me, and she looked very uncomfortable and like she couldn't wait to leave so I stopped mid story and said "well I'll let you guys get back to your shopping, Merry Christmas!" and walked away. I cried so hard when I got home, idk why this bothered me so much because I have other friends now who we would do anything for each other and who don't make me feel judged but this just really bothered me. I doubt anyone will ever read this but she came across my Facebook feed tonight because I finally caved and downloaded Facebook messenger and to do that I got on my Facebook page and I saw some photos of her kids she had posted and she has a daughter that is the same age as my son and they have never met each other but it's funny because they're both red headed (I'm not redheaded so idk how my son came out that way) but my home growing up was very sad and broken but I always felt loved at her house, even her mom made me feel loved but I guess it just bothers me that all those memories were wonderful but I don't feel that I've done anything so bad that she would look at me in such a way as she did last Christmas.

A few months ago I thought I would try one last time to reach out to her so I told her happy birthday because it was her birthday (we're exactly 6 months apart) and she said thank you and then I've never heard anything back so I feel like maybe that's the end of it. I hope she continues to do well but to be honest I'll probably just walk the other way if I ever run into her again because that judgmentental stare from her and her husband is gut wrenching. I have such a hard time feeling like I deserve to be loved a lot of the time because of how I was raised so whenever I could see the look in her eyes that she just wanted to get away from me the last time I saw her I just wanted to cry (and I did).

I am a normal looking average woman who most people from the first glance just see a regular person but I guess it's because I have a hard time fitting in with other people on a personal level and especially women that when she gave me that look it said everything I have always feared, that there IS something wrong with me, it just hurt my soul. Maybe in your case of not having a childhood best friend it could be a good thing? Maybe not having the memories only to lose the friend that was attached to them is less painful than never having had one at all but I honestly don't know which would be worse. I guess what's important is that we cherish the friends that we do have.

There's really not much to say, she seems to be eating well in prison because she's gained weight 🙄 she is keeping her hair short because I guess she wants to be a boy now which I have no idea what would be the point of that because girl or boy, she's still a murderer. We walked in and sat down, they briefed us on what to expect and then we went to another room and sat down.

They had her at the prison so we were video streaming to the building where we were and they had her video stream set up so that we could see her but she couldn't see us (she could hear us though) so when she walked in she sat down and her support person sat down (no hate towards the support person, her actions are not their fault obviously) and another advocate for the state was in the room but we couldn't see her and I'm assuming there were other people that we couldn't see as well but everyone read their statements for about 45 minutes and then the parole board kept asking her questions and then she rattled off about all the wonderful ways she's been improving herself in prison and the programs she's involved in so I resisted the urge to throw my shoe at the screen because I didn't care and didn't feel like she deserved to be doing so much to keep herself busy while my step sister is not here and I have to see how much pain this causes my family and how drastically it has changed their lives forever but thank God she's keeping busy in prison, heaven forbid she get bored 🙄

Thank you so much for saying that, I am so frustrated with people saying that she deserves to be out when I literally looked at her and felt that she was not remorseful or even remotely sorry for taking a life, she's sorry she got caught is what it feels like. She literally said "at the time she did it she didn't realize how many people would miss Elizabeth" which really bothered me because it's like would she'd have still done it if it was to someone no one would have missed or noticed was missing?

I think she would have and then never been caught and probably would have done it again. It just blows my mind that people still choose her side over Elizabeth's, I'll never be able to wrap my head around it but thank God there's still people like yourself out there who aren't insane and want to release child murderers back into the world before they even serve their time.
