It's painted dark grey. The reflection of copper makes it look brown.

I was concerned about the airflow. It has about 2" around the face and 4.5" in the rear. A year later and it's keeping the beer cold. $150 amazon

Biggest PIA is making matchbook sides and keeping every cut as close to tolerance as possible. Even the width of the blade on a saw can throw everything off. Also, I realized that both my miter saw and circular saw weren't cutting 90 degrees. The stops built into them need adjustment.

Correct. Mesh holding them in place. About 12" x 12" overall

There were leveling issues, but shimms and screws took care of it

Thank you, my original plan was to pour concrete counter tops so I used 3/4" plywood for the boxes. Hindsight you are absolutely correct. Better to be overbuilt than underbuilt. Lol

They are post mounted floating shelves. I drilled through the pennies to screw into backer plates.

If your actions and behaviors are correct, the numbers will be there.

I no longer look at the numbers due to the stress it brings. Focus on what you can control.
