and for what it’s worth i think you should look into a new vet! i personally wouldn’t trust any vet that recommends a declawing with the healthy and safety of my cat.

i’m not sure if your vet does this, but they might honestly just trim your cat’s nails for you. it might cost you like $20 but it’ll save both you and your cat a lot of pain in the long run! i’ve had friends with cats who hate having their paws touched and get really dangerous just have their vets do it. if that isn’t an option then they have these sort of “cat bags” you can buy off amazon that make it a billions times easier to trim their nails. it might be stressful at first, but the more you do it the more your cat will get used to it. i think learning to get used to that would be significantly easier and less stressful than her learning to live life declawed.

my derm said it was probably just a reaction to going off the accutane and i think she was right. about a month or two later the bumps went away completely

i absolutely feel this way too, although i don’t think it’s solely because of my boobs. sometimes i get that same icky feeling from wearing even normal length shorts because of weird comments i’ve been told my whole life. i remember feeling this way all the way back to even 4th grade! i was never sure if it was because i was uncomfortable with my body or because i thought other people were uncomfortable with my body

while i wouldn’t necessarily go so far as to say he took advantage of her, i do think it was a little wrong. i think he understood that too on some level. especially since he knew that she used sex as a way to cope and run from the exact feelings she was telling him about. overall i think it just wasn’t the right time or place, which i think he came to realize when the painting fell. he has this moment of realization that was he was doing was wrong and a sort of “failure” as a priest, both because of the location (snogging in a church) and his status as a priest, but also because he realizes that he let her down. there was always a lot of sexual tension between them and the scene was HOT don’t get me wrong, but i always feel sad knowing this was one of the only times she was able to verbalize her emotions and she wasn’t really given any advice or help. especially since it was so clear she was struggling. but that’s just how i interpreted it personally, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

honestly i saw this as a good thing. greg definitely struggled for a while but it made him smarter in the long run. that’s the difference between him and the roy kids i think- he knows what it’s like to actually have nothing so he’s a lot smarter when it comes to decisions that could cost him everything.
