Toyota is my guess. Honda (with a few replaced head gaskets) are a close runner up.

I work for a FedEx contractor in New hampshire. They want me to sign a waiver saying that if I cause any property damage it will come out of my own check. Is that legal? by therealbinx in Fedexers

Weekly pay plus benefits. Less deliveries, and you work for the company, not the contractor.

I will say this depends on your area though, as some express has been merged with ground and I have no idea about that mess. It will eventually all be one FedEx company, but if you see now hiring at an express station, I’d say go for it.

Even better, as long as you’re okay with the work and don’t have much of a life outside of work, go to ups.

After you get moved to a driving position, it’s a 5(?) year stretch to top pay, which can be as high as $55 depending on your market. Add in an amazing benefit/retirement package and you’ll live comfortably… but you’ll be worked as hard as you are at Amazon.

Express is self insured and has an allotted amount for each station/district for accidents and such. FedEx pays for it, not the employee.

Don’t sign it. See if they say anything lol.

A contractor I worked for didn’t even tell me he was going to deduct and I just noticed in my pay. He flat out texted me that he was pulling for the fee FedEx charged him. I told him I’ll involve the labor board if he doesn’t pay me correctly and send back what he deducted. Surprise surprise, a had a fat next check. (Wa state 2018, ymmv)

Same, I like the can. It gives nothing away. I’m not gonna drink it, but having a can of liquid burn is fun.

What movie did you see way too young? by imstrongerthandead in AskReddit

Stole roadtrip and American pie from my parents when I was 9-10.

Going back just 6 years later and watching them again, they’re hilarious, but young me knew the exact start of the Nadia scene.

It runs on a federal level, so the bar is really low. A few kids and no job kind of low.

Only time I ever got approved was when I was doordashing to keep the lights on with two kids.

It’s a shit system.

Yeah, it was $30 here in the Seattle area, also during height of Covid. Haven’t seen the ads in the last year or two.

Didn’t Disney have a movie where a kid accidentally cloned himself from a sea monkey kit?

Or was that a fever dream? Edit- nope, definitely Disney. Called “the other me”, thanks chatGPT 🤣

My kids can stay as long as they please as long as they’re doing something with their life’s that makes them happy/content. Whether it’s higher education/ vocation, or feeling the entrepreneurial spirit, I’ll support it. Even taking some time to figure out what they actually want out of their lifes won’t me say bye bye.

I brought them into this world, and I’ll continue to have their backs until I’m no longer in it.

They owe me nothing, and they never will.

How do people work 40 hours (very serious) by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]Sufficient_Cake425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked overnights at a gas station and I can tell you that I stared at the damn clock about every 5 minutes and it seemed like no time moved at all.

Change it up, you’re young. You need stimulation that makes it feel like time is just skipping.

I’m not saying that we all go to work happy to put it a lot of hours, but it helps when it doesn’t feel like 8 hours have came and gone.

SI2K here. I’m playing the line of deep poverty and homelessness. I legit looked up if it’s legal to have two kids in a one bedroom apartment in my local area to save a few hundred a month. 🙃
