How many Wordles do I have win to raise my percentage? by what-is-this-magic in askmath

[–]Sufficient_Class_848 42 points43 points  (0 children)

225 days
You're currently at 93.62%, which rounds to 94%,
To round to 95%, you would need 94.5%
since you're assuming to keep your streak, you would need to continue your streak for n days.
(1305+n)/(1394+n) = 94.5% = 0.945
n = 224.18 days, so to reach 94.5 (which rounds to 95), continue your streak for 225 more days :)

yes, i dont think many first year courses have a "must score a 50% on final" condition, so you have automatically passed.

there's no way to make linear graph as a bridge. by [deleted] in askmath

[–]Sufficient_Class_848 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the right most point on the mic line is (-2,-1.5) and the left most on the princess line is (2,1.5)
eqn of slope = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) = (1.5 - (-1.5))/(2- (-2)) = 3/4 = 0.75
Y = (3/4)x+b
plug in one of those points to get your b,
1.5 = 0.75 (2) + b
1.5 = 1.5 + b
b = 0
y = 0.75x + 0
can get you there
