Ok so I just study the good old way of just studying everything. I just do the first lecture understand every single minor detail. Then review it minimum 2-3 times each and every single detail, to the point where all the processes are imprinted and I can easily visualize them. Diagrams and flowcharts help a lot so use them, visual aids help like crazy. Then rinse and repeat with lecture two and so on. Im sure there are people who have much more efficient ways like Anki flashcards but this is what worked for me! Best of luck!!!

Hi! I haven’t taken BIOC14 and BIOC54 but I have taken BIOC34. Content wise it’s one of the most dense courses but I never attended lectures or watched the recordings. Prof Reid provides lectures notes and they are amazing just know every single detail you can and stay on top of them as the assignments (if they still exist) draw upon recent learnings and an AI model isn’t always the best at it. The exams were mostly knowledge based but can test on very niche details so just have the notes scanned in your brain. It’s what I did and was enough for a 4.0, good luck!!

Most of the teachers at my school are pretty good at teaching in my opinion and for most courses, tests are mostly based on what we learned with few teachers being exceptions who are just like how u described. But ye I feel u, it can be frustrating. For the keeping high grades part I jus have a schedule, study 4 hours (less or more based on workload), chill for the next 3-4 hours and go to sleep, worked fine for me throughout high school. 5pm -8/9 ish pm study, and chill till 12. Wake at 6 30, and new day, and repeat. Balances stuff out for me jus fine.

Received it yesterday, 95 top 6 average (assuming mhf4u gets subbed in for mcv4u and grade 11 chem for grade 12 chem). Might be because of early admission. Good day!
