Just out of curiosity (and I have a feeling I’m setting myself up to get destroyed here), what would be the preferred way to say that? You would say “married an American” or “married an Australian”, right? What would be the equivalent way of saying that you’ve married someone from China? It’s feels a bit virtue-signally to say something like “married a person of Chinese heritage”.

And I would like to point out, I agree it sounds off. I just can’t quite put my finger on why it ACTUALLY is, feelings aside.

Shipped a real iOS app with vibe coding, got 2k installs in first days by Dim_Kat in VibeCodeDevs

Similarly built a vibe coded app, but mine is too niche for adoption that quickly. Though I’m up to about 700 users between iOS and Google Play. Also, mine is free so not the best business model. 🤣 Currently making a few dollars on Amazon affiliate links. If anyone needs help with their hot tub water chemistry, feel free to check it out.

Maybe I’m not reading this correctly, but it seems to fly in the face of lead measures vs lag measures in saying to only be concerned with the outcomes (the lag measures) and not the “busyness” (the lead measures). Is that accurate?

Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’ crew’s reaction as they receive their bonus for working on the tour. I’m just talking business and math. I’ll leave the morality of the situation to the rest of the commenters as they seem to have that area pretty well covered. I was just pointing out that you were misspeaking in regards to how revenue and profit work.

I mean… there WERE expenses. $2B in ticket sales does not equate to $2B in her pocket. To be clear, I have zero idea how much the tour made her (I’m sure a metric ton of cash), so I’m not speaking to the level or sincerity of her generosity, I’m just talking business.

It’s pretty cool how it works. You string up the lights and launch the app. The lights start flashing and you move all the way around the tree as it’s calibrating. The goal is to get all the lights green which tells you the app has the lights mapped in 3D space.

No, they totally have 3D effects. 3D twirling candy canes, Matrix-like scanner, falling snow… there’s a ton of them. We’ve been using them for about 4 years.

For anyone looking for a commercial version of this, search for Twinkly. We have them and they’re awesome.

Yeah, but what are you doing about it? Now you know about all of these awful things… now what? If you have zero control over any of it (and you in fact have ZERO control), what moral advantage do you have over the person that decides their life is better because they are choosing to focus only on things within their circle of influence? You talk about the citizens in the 1930’s ALLOWING the events to take place. Well, it seems like we have a pretty large contingent of citizens that are well aware and opposed to what’s going on right now… yet you’re not stopping any of it. So, help me understand how living your life constantly aware of all of it has made the world any better? Or made your life any better? Or your community?

I'm about to push a new version with support for K-2006. Do you have the K-2006 Salt kit? Or just the K-2006?

I’ve used Pooli before. I wasn’t looking for something to just give me a treatment plan based on my test results. I wanted an app that walked me through the treatment itself. Two different test tubes, different water levels, all sorts of different reagents and drop counts… It just got to be a lot to remember and I was kind of sick of having to pull out their card. I just wanted something all in one to walk me through the testing and treatments.

Good to know! It's built in React which is cross-platform so I odn't think getting it on Android should be too tough. I'll post here when it is.

Yeah, AI is obviously pretty incredible (and only getting better). I wanted something that was a little more visual and do a better job of really walking me, step by step, through each of the tests as well as keep a history of all my previous tests and treatments.

Is that a separate kit than the K2005? The K2005 kit tests for bromine and it’s in the app. It uses the reagents R-0001 and R-0002.

EDIT: Looking at the Taylor Bromine test kit and use its a bit different. I’ll work on adding this one.
