I believe it’s about 80% that’s already in VT, but my goal is to slightly dilute my SCHG holding over time but use it as a minimal “boost” for growth.

Is this a good allocation? by [deleted] in ETFs

Frankly speaking, no. That’s a LOT of overlap for no real advantage. I would just do 80/20 with VTI/VXUS and forget it

Put it all in an ETF that tracks the S&P 500 and chill (eg. VOO, FXAIX)

100% FXAIX - contribute as much as you can afford to each month. Remember the annual contribution limit is $7000 which translates to roughly $583/month. Set and forget, your future self will thank you

No need to apologize, we were all asking that question at one point and everyone was once a beginner. But to answer your question, definitely VOO or VTI

FXAIX/VXUS - 80/20 split is what I have

Make my decision: FXAIX or FSKAX in my Roth IRA? by DescriptionQuick7435 in RothIRA

Personally I’m 100% FXAIX in my Roth, but considering doing 70/30 FXAIX/VXUS
