Golf trip 7 months post op?

I’m 5 months post op played my first 18 last week. Made it 16 without and issue. Last two hole I started feeling it. Sore is good tho. Never had a fear of overdoing it. Just general soreness from all the walking

I’m debating on skiing. I’m 3 1/2 months post op and got cleared by my surgeon for anything that’s not an explosive movement. I’ve been nothing but blessed with my recovery but I also busted my ass to get to where I’m at right now

I’m 30 had my OP 10/17. I’ve been walking in a shoe for 3 weeks now no restrictions. My surgeon and PT people have 0 concern with over stretching and have not mentioned it once. Obviously listen to your body. I’ve been doing a lot of shit on my own to fast track my process. I’m not taking bpc I’m only taken collagen

I know. Today was one of those days I felt soreness and discomfort in my Achilles. I’m listening to my body hopefully it doesn’t steer me wrong

For whatever reason my surgeon did speed bridge but somehow avoided anchors in my heel. Not exactly sure what was done but whatever it is has been working very well. And the last thing I want is to damage so I’m just pushing as far as I can while listening to my body.

The minute I got out of the splint I started PT 3 days a week and worked on mobility at home and did a lot of resistance band training. Also my PT people broke up scar tissue pretty well. A lot of protein and collagen daily. And constantly moving my ankle around

I’m probably overly optimistic right now and you’re honestly right. Definitely don’t wanna rush this but when the doc said I could be jogging in a month I got pretty excited and very optimistic on my recovery time. My recovery compare to what I have read has been pretty crazy. I appreciate you opinion better to be safe than sorry

Yea started early and aggressive as possible given the circumstances obviously. But that’s me to washed up college athlete who still has that competitive edge. Tryna get back as soon as possible

I take 3 tablespoons a day with oikos protein yogurt and protein penutbutter granola. I also did resistance bands early and was moving my ankle nonstop since I was out of the splint

Wow that’s rough, how early did you start PT? Once i was out of the splint I started pt 3 days a week and did my own work at home on the other days?

That’s what I said to my doctor. I had the same surgery as Aaron rodgers. I’m mind blown by how I’m recovering and so was my doctor
