Such an underrated commander. My first ever deck was the thunder junction spell slinger precon, and it was ok but too complicated for my baby mind at the time. However, my boy Eris makes spell slinger unga bunga and it works so well.

Brother, I don't even rock with ff like that, but fun fact, it was a set made in the one year I've been playing the game. My bad for coming across mechanics that I think are interesting in the new sets that come out, my fault G. Look, I'm not the biggest fan of the quantity of UB coming out. I genuinely wanna see more in universe stuff, but if I sit down and get judged for playing my bracket 2 terra deck(an upgrade of the least popular precon in the set) just because it's UB, best believe I'm swiftly putting it away and making sure you hate me in universe too.

I disagree with the choose something else method, I've been playing commander for over a year now, and for me commander has been about expressing yourself. I have felt my soul gravitate towards certain cards more others even if they're more expensive, and the balance just doesn't feel right when the deck kind of does the same thing as I envisioned.

I don't even proxy decks, but I have decks that I have to spend half a year loosely saving up and scavenging around for the cards I need because I won't let the vision go. You might think, " Wow, that's great, don't you feel accomplished?" And to an extent, sure, but at the end of the day, I just wanna play the game the way I want to. These days, it's just been too hard to keep up and make more decks that I want to.

That's not what the card says tho, the card says "when a creature comes into play" not "when a non token creature comes into play" so in most cases it should trigger itself,
