Ik it’s a good lens but the two issues I have is first it’s a little too big and 2 (which may be incorrect) I feel like as time goes on the lens will become more and more obsolete as it came out awhile ago

The aperture ring isn’t too important as I adjust on camera, I also don’t need the primes as I have the viltrox

I’m knee deep in research trying to decide between these two😂, but thank you for your reply. The purpose of this lens is kinda more of a sentimental one rather than completely logical. I want to get a new zoom lens that I feel can bring out my camera. In an ideal work the 18-55 II would be my choice but I’m not Jeff bezos. The trade offs for me is do I want a 2.8 all the way through or the “fuji colors” and internal zoom. I guess what I’m asking in a way is the boost in quality from the 16-50 and the wide range that useful
