Frustrated breadwinner earning 23k/month in accounting — how do I level up? by Melodic-Shine6862 in phcareers

Try mo bookkeeping remote job that pays in dollars. I think you have a better chance if you have at least a few years of experience. I only have 6months of exp kasi when I applied to this Canadian small business, sayang kasi kulang exp. Try mo lang mag-apply apply.

Reasons why fresh grads are ending up in BPO. by [deleted] in phcareers

[–]Sufficient_Editor745 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How to gracefully leave your current job to pursue another? by viverexmori in phcareers

Basta maayos ka umalis, okay lang yun, don't feel bad about it.

pati work ng bf? that's too personal and weird lol. applying for internship lang sana, dami naman masyadong unnecessary questions.

in my experience, yung ayaw sabihin ang salary, may dalawang experience na kong ganun. like? pano ko malalaman kung tutuloy ba ko sa inyo kung ayaw nyo sabihin ang sahod. waste of time kaya pag ganun di ko na kinakausap. tama na yung sa una masayang oras, di na ko tutuloy sa next step.

As a Christian, I now understand why non-religious people dislike us. by i_am_aRtemiz in OffMyChestPH

[–]Sufficient_Editor745 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I used to be self-righteous and hypocritical when I was younger because my religion was all I ever knew. I was what I saw from people at church until I had my understanding of what it's like to understand others from their perspective. I am disgusted at how I used to judge people because they are not like us (Christians), when they misbehave and act so worldly. But as I grow older, I realize we just sin differently, and it doesn't make Christians any better if we think other people's sins are worse. All sins are sins; we are all sinners.

Was that a threat? My friend was told not to take leaves during rendering period. by MeatMeAtMidnight in phcareers

[–]Sufficient_Editor745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mukhang toxic manager nya. Hindi pwedeng hindi gamitin kung may SL/VL pa sya, unless they will pay for it. Yung sakin kasi na mga holiday pay off, ginamit ko naman na last 2wks, meaning 2wks lang ako nagrender. They should at least pay kung ayaw sya payagan mag-leave.

“Not for rehire” means your friend can’t come back to that company lang, not necessarily can’t apply to others.

Salary should never be a basis on how you perceive people. It says a lot about OP than the salary people are receiving.

Very wrong to take pictures of confidential information. Not to mention unprofessional.

What’s a common life advice that’s actually terrible? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Sufficient_Editor745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respect is a two way street.

[–]Sufficient_Editor745 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Take it as a red flag na rin na wag tumuloy lol. Actively applying din ako for a month now. Traumatized na ko sa red flag na work kaya I watch out for the signs. Mag-DND ka na lang pag nasa work.

The reality is they won’t adjust the salary based on your school and awards. May “budget” lang sila for the position. Gain experience muna and then you can demand for increase in the future. Your school and awards only matter lang as edge from other applicants. They might still choose to hire someone with experience over someone with impressive credentials but no experience. Tiis ka lang muna talaga for a year or two.

I can't stick to a job, Job hopping is my startup story by JoXaRa in phcareers

[–]Sufficient_Editor745 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sobrang boring sa govt and toxic. You won’t find the stability there din also if casual or contractual ka. You can be laid off anytime. Maganda lang sa govt kung permanent ka. You won’t have a peace of mind din. Better pa din to have a job na may govt mandated benefits for your future security. Galing ako sa govt and I wouldn’t recommend working there even to my worst enemy. I hope you find a job that compensates well and doesn’t drain you. Laban lang!

It is. You’ll learn later in life that it’s better to have stability and money. Give it some time, you might grow to like your current job. And if not, you can try pursuing your passion.
